 Overview
For this project, you will be put into a group and assigned an invention that was
developed during the Industrial Revolution in America. You will research the
invention and do prep work to develop a sales pitch to the class about the
importance of your invention, as well as why they should fund and invest in YOUR
invention.

Imagine if your assigned invention had never been made, how would our world be
different today? Why is it so important? Only with a convincing pitch will the “sharks”
(investors) approve manufacturing your invention! Good luck and be creative!
 Directions
1. You will put yourselves into groups of 4 (maximum 5) - (I will help as needed to make sure
everyone is in a group)
2. In class, you will pick a number from 1-9 to see which invention is your group’s
