you return a text value and not a number.

You can get the Q&A visual by double clicking an empty region on your report canvas, or from insert tab
inside AI Visuals.

Select an element -> Analyze option -> Explain the increase/Explain the decrease/ Explain why
distribution is different

Similar option in Power Bi Service -> Right click on a dataset and choose get quick insights

Quick insights is a feature present on PowerBI.com, you will have to right click on the dataset and click
view insights/quick insights and Power BI will automatically build it for you. You can pin these insights to
your dashboard . There will be a text describing the insights at the RHS. You need to be in import mode
for this to work.

Alternatively if you are interested in something specific, you go open the insight in focus mode and then
choose to view insight. Doing this would give you information in 2sections. The first one will give you
summary and the second one will give you some insights.

 create reference lines by using Analytics pane

1. Helps you to make trend line, constant lines, max/min line, average line, median line, percentile line,
forecast
2. You can define the forecast length in terms of points/ time periods
3. You can ask the forecast to ignore previous points/time periods

 use the Play Axis feature of a visualization

2. To use this drag the apt field in the play axis well in the fields pane menu

1. To create a group, right click on any column name and click group
2. Include other group similar to Tableau
3. For binning, you need a numerical column
4. While binning, select type of group as bin, bin type can be size of bins or number of bins

 use the Key Influencers to explore dimensional variances

 use the decomposition tree visual to break down a measure

You have the option to sort based on high value or low value

You can change the order of the way tree branches into categories depending on what you right click
and choose, this is different from based on high value and low value

 apply AI Insights
