- Load all media and non-media content loadables that the aircraft requires on the PL3000 and HDD OMLs (1
per aircraft)
- Test the new components at the rack
- Provide a content loadable manifest of all media and non-media content loadables loaded on the PL3000
- Ship PL3000 and HDD OMLs to Spafax/PTS
- Upload all of the new non-media content loadables before the start of the new month content loading on the
following online shared drive: http://tinyurl.com/aca-ife-content
- Update the content loadable manifest of all media and non-media content loadables indicating the ones that
need to be loaded for a specific cycle and their respective content loading mechanism (USB, PL3000, Cell
Modem)
- As required, include additional testing steps to be conducted on the ground after content loading activities
NOTE: If Media/Content load fails please call maintenance and notify them of the failed load and ask for urgent
support. Until media load is successfully completed, the IFE on the system might not work.

- Reboot IFE from flight deck
- Remove USB key from CT
- Take a content check from the aircraft and print it
- Verify that the new content check matches the new month content configuration summary
- Perform an operational check on the system
- As required, perform any additional testing specified on the content configuration summary
- Notify maintenance of any issue with the load or testing.
- Call MOC to notify the end of the load.
