My Learning Story Reflection

The purpose of this project was to get students to reflect on their childhood inspirations and
how it has impacted their learning experience in high school. My story started in middle school, when
teachers were supposed to guide students to their potential career in the future. I was recommended
managerial positions, but I knew it wasn’t I wanted to do. I felt pressured and lost, but one day in
science class I had a stroke of inspiration from Bill Nye. Reflecting on my past helped me understand if
my career choice is permanent, and if it was what I was passionate about. I liked watching my growth
and having the feeling of being excited about my future and learning again. I want to do more projects
like this in the future because it had creative freedom and it was enlightening.
