1. What is/are the styles of dance used? Explain your answer

The dance styles used are breaking, popping, locking, krumping, and house. They
used breaking because they execute acrobatic movements with breaks or freezes in
between acts. They also used popping because they execute quick contraction and
relaxation of muscles to producing jerking of various joints. They also used locking
because they executed fast distinct arm and hand movements combined with relaxed hips
and legs. They used krumping because of their highly energetic moves of the limbs and
torso, and they also used house because of emphasizing their fast, complex footsteps with
fluid movements of the torso.

2. Identify and list down the dance movements used in the performance.

For breaking, they used: windmills, flare, top rock, uprock, elbow freeze, and
shoulder freeze. For popping, they used: fresno, dime stop, tutting, and isolation. For
locking, they used: strong man lock, point, five/clap, Scooby doo, scoobot, knee drop,
etc. For krumping, they utilized stomps, chest, and arms. For house, they used: cross step,
paddbre, criss cross, etc.

3. Describe the emotions brought about by the dance. Describe how you feel while watching
the whole dance performance.

Each song brought different emotions that are amplified after watching the whole
Naruto series, especially the drama scene during the performance. The whole
performance was full of excitement and it gave me chills how synchronized they can be.
Certain dance movements that are highly energetic triggers my feelings of energy, and I
was entertained by the complexity of the dance performance by O-DOG.
