The candidate should also bring valid photo ID proof (Voter ID / PAN Card / Driving Licence / Passport) alongwith them

Contravention to the given instruction will result in the cancellation of the candidature. No further correspondence in this regard will be
entertained.
 
अ य थय के लए अनुदेश Instructions for Candidates

1. This Admit Card-cum Call letter has to be produced at the time of Stage-1 (Preliminary Test).

2. Stage-1 consists of 50 multi choice questions (with 4 options) of one hour duration by using OMR
sheet. However, 20 minutes additional time will be provided for Divyang candidates subject to production
of requisite certificate. 3 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted
for each incorrect answer.

3. Minimum pass percentage in Stage-1 shall be 40% for General Category and 30% for Reserved
Category. In the event of large number of candidates qualifying in the Stage-1, the candidates will be
shortlisted for Stage-2 (Advanced Test), as per merit. Obtaining the minimum qualifying marks alone does
not entitle a candidate to be called for the Stage-2 (Advanced Test). The number of candidates
shortlisted for Stage-2 will depend upon the number of candidates qualifying in Stage-1, but will not
exceed 4-5 times the number of vacancies.
Result of Stage-1 will be declared and displayed on BARC website and only those candidates who are
shortlisted in Stage-1 will be allowed to appear for Stage-2.

4. For Stage-1 (Preliminary Test), two ply OMR sheet will be provided i.e candidate can take the
carbon copy of their OMR Sheet with them. Further, the answer keys of Preliminary Test will be uploaded
on BARC website.

5. SC/ST candidates desirous of claiming travelling allowance, have to download TA form uploaded in
BARC recruit website (www.recruit.barc.gov.in) and submit the duly filled form at their respective
centre alongwith a copy of their caste certificate, travel tickets & bank details(Account number, IFSC
code, Bank name & branch)

6. Please note that the use of mobile phone, bluetooth, Wi-Fi, calculator or any electronic gadget
is strictly prohibited in the examination hall.

7. Candidates shall submit the declaration form for COVID-19, which can be downloaded from the
website of BARC. Candidates shall strictly adhere to the guidelines prescribed by the Central/State
Governments in this regard.

query regarding examination centre.

9. If you could not upload photograph in the on-line application may now affix passport size
photograph on Admit Card cum Call letter.

10. If your name has been changed due to marriage etc., you may produce any of the relevant
documents i.e. Marriage Certificate, Divorce Decree, any legal document supporting change of name.

11. The admission of the candidate for the selection process is purely PROVISIONAL subject to
satisfying prescribed eligibility conditions on the date of application viz. Age, Qualification, Caste,
No Objection Certificate, if applicable, etc as mentioned in the advertisement.

12. The candidates must ensure that they fulfill the conditions as prescribed in the advertisement
before they appear for written test
