1. Compare the modern dances before and todays generation.

Modern dance before is a theatrical dance that began to


develop in the US and Europe late in 19th century. It evolved as a
protest against both ballet and interpretative dance. While the
modern dance in today’s generation is always confused with Jazz
dance. The modern dance in today’s generation has taken a very
different approach. It includes Hiphop, lyrical, freestyle and fusion,
a combination of dance forms like tap, Jazz, modern and ballet.
