• Main source of energy in every
ecosystem.
• Necessary for plants to grow and
survive.
• Without plants, animals could not live.
SOIL
• Made up of minerals and organic
matter.
• Plants ans animals need certain soil
characteristics and conditions to exist
and develop.

The living components or organisms of an ecosystem.

Each species in an ecosystem has a function or a role

to play.
