 Obtain rock samples for activity 4.2

PROCEDURE:
 Sample rock was taken which is needed to be examined and classified.
 The rock under consideration is compared with the figure4.4 in their
classification.
 After comparing, the layer of rock is checked whether it is having layers or not.
 Then the grains or special properties were checked and then is classified as
igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic.
 And at the last step the changes that the rock undergo are determined.

Precautions:
 Read all precautions in the laboratory manual and in labels and follow directions
exactly.
 Shoes must be worn in lab.
 Rocks should be handled with care.
