1. Options for Blanks (i) {2} (ii) x2 + 25y2 + 10xy

(iii) 1 / one (iv) Zero / 0

2. (i) 358 (ii) (3x – 5) (3x2 – 4x + 1)

3 12 81 64 =3x (3x2 – 4x + 1) – 5 (3x2 – 4x + 1)
09 = 9x3 – 12x2 + 3x – 15x2 + 20x – 5
65 381
= 9x3 – 27x2 + 23x – 5
325
5664
708
5664
0
So, 𝟏𝟐𝟖𝟏𝟔𝟒 = 358

3. by cross multiplication
5(5x – 2) = 4 (3x + 6)
25x – 10 = 12x + 24
25x – 12x = 24 + 10
13x = 34
x = 34/13
Solution set = {34/13}

4. Let, Father’s present age = x

Hassan’s present age = x – 25
10 years ago:
Father’s age = x – 10
Hassan’s age = x – 25 – 10
According to given condition:
(x – 10) + (x – 25 – 10) = 87
2x – 20 – 25 = 87
2x = 87 + 20 + 25
2x = 132
x= 132/2
= 66
So, age of Father’s age = 66 years age of Hassan’s is 66 –25 = 41 years
