1. Prestart Inspection :
Carefully inspect the compressor installation to ensure the following prestart
requirements are fulfilled.
a. Ensure system has been cleaned and tested for leaks.
b. Ensure electrical connection from power supply in good condition and check all
instrument in control panel.
c. Check that all fittings and connections are in good condition prior to starting.
d. Check all fittings are securely connected prior to being pressurized.
e. Check oil level before operation.
f. Shut Off drain valve in tank reciver.
g. Ensure the pressure safety valve (PSV) is in the 2200 Psi
h. Ensure the whipcheck is properly installed.

2. Safe Operation :

a. Shut off drain valve on air tank / reciver compressor.


b. Switch “ON” power supply switch at the control panel.
c. Start the compressor.
d. Ensure the valve from compressor to AM manifold is open.
e. Listen for any air leaks from all airlines or hoses. Do not continue if there are

any leaks.
f. Adjust the pressure regulator to suit the particular work requirements pressure
. making sure it doesn’t exceed the rated capacity of hoses and
equipment.
g. Maintain AM manifold pressure in 2000 Psi by operating the valve and pressure
regulator.
h. Always check these pressures at regular intervals during normal operation.
i. Air hose connections must be secured and checked prior to being pressurized.
j. Check for any abnormal noise from the compressor. If abnormal, switch off
the compressor.

3. Shut down :

a. Switch “OFF” Power Supply switch at the control panel.


b. Shut Off all valve between compressor and air tank / reciver.
c. Open drain valve on air tank /reciver compressor.
