General Notice
This operation manual contains the operating and maintenance procedures necessary to safely run
your MSL Compressor. We strongly recommend that you read this manual thoroughly prior to
operation and follow all the safely precautions precisely. Damage resulting from any deviation
from these instructions is excluded from warranty and liability for this product. Be sure to pay
attention to the following points.
Description of Fuction
The M3EH is a 4 stage compressor designed to fill scuba tanks with compressed air. Air is
supplied through air intake filter. The air then enters the 1st stage with a tiny quantity of
oil-vapour and is compressed to 3.5 bar. From there it passes a cooling pipe to the 2nd stage,
where it is compressed to 13 bar. From there it passes a cooling pipe to the 3rd stage, where it
is compressed to 65 bar. After that the water and oil are removed in a (mechanical-expansional)
separator and the air is cooled in the next cooling-pipe before entering stage 4. There it is
compressed to the final pressure of 220 or 330bar(Max 350bar) and then led to the next filter,
where again oil and water are separated through expansion before the air passes through an
activated carbon filter. The filter exit-port is connected to a high pressure hose, which ends with
a pressure-gauge and a tank-connection (filling-valve assembly).
it has it's own safety valve, set and sealed by the manufacturer from 220 to 330 bar, depending
on specification.
We do not recommend our customer to use high pressure compressor without periodic hydraulic
pressure testing that is made of various high pressurized parts.

General Notice
The compressor should be connected to an 16 Ampere plug.
Note: Check direction of rotation immediately after the first start. If the direction of rotation
is wrong, the pistons may adhere to the piston sleeve due to the lack of lubrication!!
Furthermore, the unit would not be cooled properly. When facing the front of he compressor
(water separator side), the direction of rotation should be clockwise (check arrows on
compressor block and cover). Don't place compressor closer than 0.5 m to any walls and
ensure good ventilation.

Make sure conduct drain final stage separator that located the below filter housing.
Conduct drain at least every 15 min and after filling cylinder.
Failure of periodic drain cause water-contaminated to crankcase so that compressor is
broken ! And also cause contamination of air and make filter life time much shorten.!

MEMO
1.Please drain the condensates every 15 min by open drain valve carefully a little without
stopping the compressor run. Drain point is final separator and filter housing.
These parts must be filled with pressure while you try to open drain valve.
The operator should be careful while you do drain.
2.Please check oil level before and after using compressor. Oil level should be checked at least
every 2 hours. So, the operator should check oil level before compressor running.
The continuous running causes fast oil consumption.
3. The operator must check ambient air temperature while the compressor is run.
Allowable temperature range is +5 - +35.
There also high contamination possibility from water drop near filling valve by Jule-Thomson effect.
And, the humidity level is high inside of filter housing and filling hose and valve after replacing
purification filter. If you open filter cap, then ambient air goes inside filter housing and filling lines.
This high humid ambient air makes humidty level high. So, please do not sample air right after filter
changing without drying procedure. The operator open filling valve and let the air goes out at least
more than 5 min after changing filter or before sample air conduct.
