Objective:

1. Draw specimens of protists from prepared slides.


2. Identify the general characteristics of protists through practical.

Procedure:
1. Observe prepared slides of paramecium, spirogyra, amoeba,
chlamydomonas, volvox, gonium and euglena under a low power microscope,
then high power. Magnification powers (4x, 10x, 40x and 100x) need to be
adjusted so that the structure of the organism is clearly visible.
2. For each type of protist, record the shape and structure that are visible.
3. Draw the protist structures clearly, neatly and labeled.
4. State the classification (taxa) of each protista observed.
