Type of activity Procedure


Vocabulary. Group work. 1 Explain that the students are going to play
a game of dominoes in which they form
Aim compound adjectives.
To practise forming compound adjectives. 2 Divide the class into groups of three to four
students and give each group a set of
Task dominoes placed face down on the table.
To match dominoes to make compound adjectives.
3 Ask the students to take five dominoes each
and leave the rest in a pile, face down.

dominoes, for example,
