A. Description of Ms. L

Jacinta Ibardo Laza also known as “Ms. L” was a young woman in Laguna and believed to
be Rizal’s tutor. She is a professor from Pakil Laguna, the third girlfriend of Jose Rizal. Rizal shortly
after losing Segunda Katigbak, he paid court to a young woman in Pakil, Laguna. Rizal called
Jacinta Ibardo Laza Miss L. Rizal describes Miss L. as fair with seductive and attractive eyes. After
visiting her in her house several times for a tutor lesson in the subject Rhetoric and Poetry, he
suddenly stopped his wooming, and the romance died a natural death.

B. How and when do Ms. L and Rizal met?

Rizal encountered Jacinta shortly after Segunda's disappointment. By the time he first fell in
love with Segunda Katigbak, a girl from Lipa, Batangas, and two years his junior, Jose Rizal was just
a young boy of sixteen (16). Jacinta is a professor from Pakil, Laguna.

C. Problems or struggles experienced with Rizal?

The struggles or problems between Jose Rizal and Jacinta Ibardo Laza are the father of Rizal
is disapproving of the relationship/friendship between the two because Jacinta is much older than
Rizal and she was also a professor which the father of Rizal's dislike. And also, from that time, Jose
Rizal was still in love with Segunda Katigbak.

D. What kind of relationship do Ms. L and Rizal have?

Jacinta Ibardo Laza was considered to be Jose Rizal's tutor and third girlfriend, but their
relationship was not formal since Rizal only visited her house for tutoring lessons many times.

E. How it ends their friendship or relationship?

That split, the agony that Rizal felt was compelled to mitigate the visit of the girl living in
Pakil, Laguna, whom she calls Miss L. Rizal says it is older than him, white with attractive eyes. This
woman is assumed to be Jacinta Ibardo Laza, the teacher. Rizal also visits Miss L, though Segunda
