Assignment Objectives:
• The objective of this requirement is the creation of a digital portfolio of your engineering/technical graphics
work to use for internship, co-op, and permanent professional positions.
• The goal is to allow you to show possible employers actual engineering/technical graphics experience using
both freehand sketching and CAD technologies.
Tasks/Instruction:
1. The following is required to receive full credit:
a. The notebook must be completed via an online website resembling this example. The sketch
assignments need to be scanned and inserted in the direction the sketches have been created and the
CAD assignments are to be screen shots with the specification tree expanded to the feature level
(Sketchfab Models or similar technology can also accompany screenshots). (Make sure you revise the
sketches if you haven’t sketched them in the proper orientation)

Up to the date of the initial/final digital portfolio check
Assignments in the order that they were assigned. (if you missed any you need to complete
them and include in the portfolio for full credit.)
Must all read from the same direction so that the images do not need to be turned to read it.
d. CAD assignments:
Large print to see the model and specification tree clearly
Isometric view and the view set to “Fit-all-in”
Specification tree needs to be expanded to the sketch level for each appropriate feature
DO NOT DISTORT THE IMAGE TO FIT THE SLIDE. THE CAD PRODUCT NEEDS TO LOOK RIGHT!
e. Projects
Submission Instructions:
• EVERY ASSIGNMENT AND THE SYLLABUS MUST BE PRESENT.
• THE DIGITAL PORTFOLIO, LEGO PROJECT AND FINAL PROJECT REQUIREMENTS MUST BE PRESENT.
• LEGO PROJECT AND THE FINAL PROJECT MUST BE INCLUDED PRESENT
• FOR THE INITIAL PORTFOLIO REVIEW, EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE UP THROUGH WEEK 06.
• FOR THE FINAL PORTFOLIO, EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE UP THROUGH WEEK 15.
• THE ABOVE APPLIES TO BOTH INITIAL AND FINAL DIGITAL PORTFOLIO.
• Submit link to LMS assignment for grading.
