INSTRUCTIONS TO REPLACE THE
POWER PRODUCTS DIVISION
mac R2 ON THE VSC Unità Operativa Sace-MV

ATTENTION: Any intervention or operation on the Electronic boards (setting,

checks and so on) must be done with the unit turned off and main capacitors
totally discharged. Pay attention to handle the board after working periods:
some components can reach very high temperatures.

Remove the tripping rod of the fuse left (fig.1-2-3-4)

 Disconnect the earth-band (fig.5)

Unhook the retaining tabs rear (fig 6)

Unhook the retaining tabs of the plastic protection (fig.7-8 )

Pull out partially the plastic protection (fig.9)

Unhook the connector(fig 10)

 Remove the plastic protection (fig 11)

remove the rear plastic protection (fig 12-13)

Disconnect the rear plug (fig.14-15)
Attention :the fixing of the plug is assured by only two external screw.

Remove the electronic device (fig.16-17-18)

Assemble the new Electronic Device, proceeding in reverse order to the

one described.
