Gravity HillS

A gravity hill is also known as a magnetic hill, mystery hill,

mystery spot, gravity road, or anti-gravity hills .It is a place
where the layout of the surrounding land produces an optical
illusion, making a slight downhill slope appear to be an uphill
slope. The slope of gravity hills is an optical illusion, although
sites are often accompanied by claims that magnetic or
supernatural forces are at work. Optical illusions stimulate us
by challenging us to see things in a new way. They are
interesting within scientific disciplines because they lie on the
border of what we are able to see. The most important factor
contributing to the illusion is a completely or mostly obstructed
horizon (the line at which the Earth's surface and the sky
appear to meet ). Without a horizon, it becomes difficult to
judge the slope of a surface as a reliable reference is missing
.The hill road is actually a downhill road. Objects and cars on the
hill road may appear to roll uphill in defiance of gravity when
they are, in fact, rolling downhill. There are hundreds of
recognized gravity hills around the world. Magnet Hill is a
"Cyclops hill" located near Leh in Ladakh, India. That means
there are some places where the land is shaped in such a way
that it can sometimes appear that things are going uphill when
they are really going down.
