SUN STROKE ALERT SYSTEM

Heatstroke is a life-threatening condition that happens when our body temperature

rises above 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius). It's usually the result
of overexertion in hot, humid conditions.  Symptoms of sunstroke includes
Throbbing headache ,Dizziness and light-headedness ,Lack of sweating despite the
heat ,Red, hot, and dry skin ,Muscle weakness or cramps, Nausea and vomiting,
Rapid heartbeat, which may be either strong or weak, Rapid, shallow breathing.
People like to use umbrella , caps and wet towels .Here we are representing heat
stroke alert system to avoid sunstroke .We designed a cap in which we attach this
sunstroke alerting system .The Heat Stroke Alert System (HSAS) is a system that
aims at providing alerts if an individual is at risk of experiencing a heat stroke. The
undetectable nature of a heat stroke, has been a major issue sometimes leading to
the death also. Heat exhaustion if unattended may lead to death due to damage of
internal organs of the body like the brain and kidneys. The proposed system which
is mainly intended in saving lives from untimely deaths due to heat stroke, consist
of a simple wearable device . It is based on the factors which can be used to
determine if an individual is experiencing a heat stroke, and accordingly generate
pre-alerts and critical alerts taking this factor into consideration. The device is
composed of sensor to detect the over temperature. When body temperature is over
45 degree Celsius an alerting buzzer sound is on and the main controller also
activates the red alerting indication lights to alert for sunstroke detection .
We used Over temperature detector (thermostat)which measures the body
temperature and shows it in the display unit . After detecting the sunstroke , it is
easy to do the first aid and treatment for the person with sunstroke .
