Subject: - QUOTATION FOR ECO-COTA-1100 (Automatic Coating System.)

Dear Sirs,
Thank you very much for your enquiry on the above subject, we are pleased to
quote here under for the Coating System PLC based suitable for aqueous /solvent film
coating for a batch of approximates size of 70 - 120 kg, depending on the tablet shape &
size.
The machine is constructed with two conical ends welded to a cylindrical central section
with perforations. On the inside of the barrel several baffles (surface finish - ISO RA 0.4)
provide a continuous scrambling of the mass being coated. The pan is manufactured from
St. Steel AISI-316 L and located on two pairs of rollers engaging with two circular rails
welded to the conical ends. The motor and the moving parts are contained in a fabricated
M.S base provided with easy access door
Product contact areas - Stainless Steel 316L
Surface finish - ISO RA 0.5
Non-Product contact surfaces - Stainless Steel 304
Surface finish - ISO RA 0.5
Construction - Double Skin.
Lighting - Internal, fitted to top of coater.

Hot Air Blowing System

The fan unit blows hot air to the coating pan through a S.S pipe. The incoming air is
filtered through a washable filter. Finned air heaters installed in the unit supply hot air in
the coating pan at requisite temperature. All components of the blowing system are
contained in a stainless steel AISI316 L cabinet. For hygroscopic products air
dehumidification system is available. Explosion proof version of ECO-COTA is also
available and can be provided if required
Filtration to be provided will be
Insect Screen - Fitted to the inlet to the unit.
Pre-Filter - Pleated disposable panel, efficiency of G4 (Euro vent standard EU4).
Secondary Filter - Disposable bag, efficiency of F8 (Euro vent standard EU8
Filter Condition - All filters will have locally mounted magnehelic gauges
A HEPA filter will be fitted as the final component in the air-handling unit.
DOP testing – Up-stream and down-stream injection and sampling points will be
provided for testing the integrity of the unit.
HEPA Filter - Disposable panel with efficiency of H13 (Euro vent standard EU13)
Filter Condition - Locally mounted magnehelic gauge will be provided.

Exhaust System
the exhaust fan unit is meant for extraction of humid air from the pan during coating
process. All components of the exhaust unit are contained in a stainless-steel cabinet

WET SCRUBBER
The Scrubber fabricated from 3.0 mm s. s. sheet 1000x 2800 mm nozzles for water spry
18 in number fabricated from PVC. Total pressure drop ½ " WG. Also included one
pump supplying water at 40 PSI. The water storage capacity would be 500 liters. Air inlet
200 mm air outlet 200mm. Also included hatch hog fills 1300mm high and S.S.
Eliminator. Proposed Eco- cota fan would be used to produce draft.
