Brief Description:

Closed circuit wind tunnel:In closed circuit, the air from the compressor is passed to the tunnel
through cooler and then air is passed through the diffuser and is again sent back to the compressor.
uniform flow of air with constant velocity flow level of turbulence is made to pass through the tunnel.
The return circuit is used to store the air used.

Air flow pattern is studied by these methods:

a. Smoke method
b. Tuft method
c. Oil coating method
