Ephesians Chapter 6
Walking in the light and
Fighting the darkness

A. Children and Parents

Children, you belong to the Lord,

and you do the right thing when you
obey your parents.The first
commandment with the promise
says, Obey your father and mother,
and you will have a long life. Parents
don’t be hard on your children.
Raise them properly. Teach them
and instruct them about the Lord.
Application
As children of God honor our
parents, in order to grow in our
Christ likeness and to reflect the
new life we have in Christ. In the
way we not only hold fast to our
future inheritance, we also show
others how He changed us.Giving
the chance to share the goodness of
Christ to us with them.

B. Slaves and Masters

Slaves , you must obey your
earthly masters. Show them
great respect and be as a loyal
to them as you are to Christ.
Try to please them at all times
and not just when you think
they are watching. You are
slaves of Christ, so you with
your whole heart you must do
what God wants you to do .
Gladly serve your masters, as
though they were the Lord
with himself and not only
simply people.

Application
Whatever good that anyone
does, He will receive the same
from the Lord. Whether he is
slaves or free.

C. The fight Against evil

Therefore put on the Armor of
God, The belt of truth,
Breastplate of righteousness,
shoe of the gospel, Gospel of
peace, Shield of faith, Helmet
of salvation and the Sword of
the Spirit. So that when the
day of evils come you may be
able to stand firm. Let the truth
be like a belt around our waist.
God’s justice will protect us like
armor, our desire to tell the
good news about peace should
be like shoes on our feet and
our faith be like a shield. Let
Gods saving power like a
helmet and sword use Gods
message that comes from the
spirit.

Application
Be strong in the Lord
Put on the whole armor of God
That we may be able to stand
against the playful trick of the
devil.
