The Forum’s Framework
Shifting personal, professional and institutional mindsets around workplace inclusion is not
easy and is a journey that begins from within.

The Forum attracts people at different stages of their understanding and practice. It is
designed to meet people where they are regardless of work or life experiences.
THE 2021 FORUM
Levels of Learning
• Introductory (knowledge): Session will introduce basic building blocks and tactical applications.
Attendee has general diversity and inclusion knowledge.
• Intermediate (proficiency): Session presents a more strategic application of the building blocks.
Attendee has experience with the challenges of a diverse workplace and the skills and tools needed
to work within it.

• Advanced (mastery): Session offers discussion of strategic challenges, next practices and innovative
applications of the building blocks. Attendee is a subject matter expert in diversity and inclusion.

Barrett Koehler
• Documentary Film Series—two documentaries each Tuesday and Wednesday night
with commentary from the film makers and a panel discussion by some of those
featured in the films
• Featured sessions—half day sessions providing a deeper look at the complex issues
of inclusion measurement, organizational transformation, and the relationship
between races
• Industry half day session—focused specifically on the need for transformation in
higher education

GUEST POLICY
We encourage you to promote your participation at The Forum to all clients and
colleagues. However, please note that guests, assistants, colleagues or others will
not receive complimentary attendance into your session.

We encourage those who wish to attend your session to register as attendees.


CLOSED CAPTIONING
As part of our continued commitment to inclusion we will providing live closed captioning in
each workshop.

In order to provide the most accurate captioning we ask that you provide a glossary of terms
and your PowerPoint slides by February 22nd. Email materials to
workplaceforum@Augsburg.edu with subject “Session Code Captioning Information”.
MARKETPLACE BOOTH
Complimentary Presenter Marketplace Booths is now open.

Booths are limited and allocated on a first come first serve basis.

A maximum of 40 complimentary exhibitor booths will be reserved for presenters. Beyond that number, booths can be
purchased by presenters at a discounted rate of $600. For the discount code contact workplaceforum@augsburg.edu.

Marketplace booths come with one complimentary registration for exhibit staff; a second exhibit staff must be registered
and paid for at applicable registration rates.

Presenters wishing to take advantage of complimentary booth MUST register for a booth separately. We only allow one
booth per organization, even if there are multiple presenters from the same organization.

rehearsal times. Trend Talk presenters will be contacted at this time to set up a time to record presentation during the
week of February 22.

• Around February 19 – Presenters will be receiving an email from Pathable to claim their account and create profile.

• Rehearsals will happen during the week of Feb. 22 on the Pathable virtual platform
