Course This course examines the intersections of the concepts of ethics and leadership
Description from a wide range of disciplines, contexts, and professions. This course will
help students to develop as a leaders and to prepare them to have a positive
influence on others, as well as throughout their lives. Using an
interdisciplinary approach, students will deepen and broaden their learning
about theories, models, and constructs related to the study and practice of
ethics and leadership while examining compelling contemporary questions
and dilemmas. In making decisions, an individual may utilize the ethical
values in legal or religious compliance and even in maximizing profits.
Course At the end of the course students will be able:
Objectives To Explainthe role, traits and characteristics of leader.
Toclassify different types of leadership styles applicable at different point of
time.
To apply various leadership theories to handle diverse teams and ethical
requirements .
To examine the ethical dimesnsions and factors to be considered at the time
of corporate decision making
To appraise the different situations at functional, coporate and global level
keeping ethics as a centre point.
