Course This course examines the intersections of the concepts of ethics and leadership
Description from a wide range of disciplines, contexts, and professions. This course will
help students to develop as a leaders and to prepare them to have a positive
influence on others, as well as throughout their lives. Using an
interdisciplinary approach, students will deepen and broaden their learning
about theories, models, and constructs related to the study and practice of
ethics and leadership while examining compelling contemporary questions
and dilemmas. In making decisions, an individual may utilize the ethical
values in legal or religious compliance and even in maximizing profits.
Course At the end of the course students will be able:
Objectives  To Explainthe role, traits and characteristics of leader.
 Toclassify different types of leadership styles applicable at different point of
time.
 To apply various leadership theories to handle diverse teams and ethical
requirements .
 To examine the ethical dimesnsions and factors to be considered at the time
of corporate decision making

Individual - Assignment Description: 20 marks


Submission date: 27.01.2021
Students are expected to select any C.E.O from fortune 500 Companies and analyze their influence on the
organisation. Students can research on the impact of the leader on their work systems, procedures and
culture implemented in the organisation. (Change in the organisation after joining the organisation).
Students will have to elaborate how the firm is different from other firms in creating value based
leadership. The most important aspects to be covered in the assignment will be about the values, norms,
strength and work that firm have taken in the past and changes induced in values and norms by leader in
discussion. Student will have to gather information about face (leader) of the organisation and his/her
personality trait. This is an Individual assignment.

At the end of this assignment, students will be able to:
