L. Material (in detail)


The period of pregnancy is a period of fetal growth, therefore the mother is
being pregnant requires additional nutrition in her diet. Health
the baby depends on the health of the mother, especially during pregnancy. Healthy pregnant women
an average of 10 + 1% kg is expected to gain weight
normal. in a pregnant condition, it is hoped that the mother will stay healthy by maintaining quality
food in addition to control to a doctor or midwife to monitor
maternal health and fetal development.

THINGS THAT NEED TO BE CAREFUL DURING PREGNANCY:


 besides a balanced diet, exercise and fresh air are needed
 Checking the mother's health regularly
 Close the air regularly as directed
 keep the mother's weight gain not excessive  NAS:
- Normal 12 -17 kg
- Underweight 10 - 12 kg
- Overweight 17-22 kg
- <145 9 - 14 kg
- Twins 17-22 kg
During pregnancy, mothers should not do heavy work

THE FUNCTIONS OF GETTING FOOD FOR PREGNANT WOMEN ARE:


1. Maintain maternal health and nutrition
2. Fetal organ growth
3. Smooth delivery
4. Prepare for milk production

NUTRITION DUE TO PREGNANT WOMEN DOES NOT ENOUGH:


The consequences for the mother:
 Lack of blood  anemia -
 weight less or more
 swelling  'edema -
 health problems
Increased blood pressure, weakness, bleeding, etc. -
 Easily infected
Consequences for the fetus:
 babies born with less weight (LBW)
 babies born prematurely
 children are susceptible to disease
 Children's intelligence is lacking
 Miscarriage
 congenital defect
 Development is stunted
 stillborn child
 Neonatal mortality
Impact on the delivery process:
 Labor is difficult and long
 Bleeding after birth
DISTURBANCE WHICH HAPPENS IN PREGNANT MOM:
 Sick and vomiting
usually occurs in a feeding state so should be given
food in dry form, small and frequent portions. For example: toast / toast, biscuits, crakers etc. Drinks
are given ½ hour after meals. For example: eruk water, tomato juice, green bean cooking water.
 Lack of blood
Mothers are advised to choose foods that are high in iron levels. For example: dark green vegetables,
nuts, eggs, fish, meat. do not forget to take one iron tablet a day
 Tooth loss and brittle hip bones
Mothers are encouraged to eat food sources of lime

For example: nuts, anchovies, green vegetables, milk
 Lack of appetite
Mothers are encouraged to eat fresh foods, for example: fresh fruits and vegetables.
PREGNANT MOTHER'S FOOD DIVERSITY:
The diet of pregnant women is actually the same as that of non-pregnant women, only
the number and quality should be increased.
 Pregnant women should eat 1 C times than usual
 Food can be given small but frequent portions
 Always try to balance the composition of the daily food, the food consists of:
- Sources of energy: rice, potatoes, bread.
- Sources of building substances: meat, fish, eggs, milk, tofu, tempeh,
- Sources of regulatory substances: vegetables and fruits.
 food ingredients that need to be limited are:
- chilies
- Fatty foods

Masa hamil adalah masa pertumbuhan janin, oleh karena itu ibu yang
sedang hamil memerlukan tambahan saat gizi dalam makanannya. Kesehatan
bayi tergantung kesehatan ibunya terutama masa hamil. Ibu hamil yang sehat
rata-rata diharapkan bertambah berat badannya sebanyak 10+1% kg dari
normal. dalam kondisi hamil diharapkan ibu tetap sehat dengan menjaga mutu
makanannya disamping kontrol ke dokter atau bidan untuk memantau
kesehatan ibu dan perkembangan janin.

HAL-HAL YANG PERLU DIPERHATIKAN SELAMA MASA HAMIL :


 disamping makanan seimbang perlu gerak badan dan udara segar
 Memeriksakan kesehatan ibu secara teratur
 Merapat pa"udara secara teratur sesuai petunjuk
 jaga kenaikan berat badan ibu jangan sampai berlebihan  NAS :
- Normal 12 -17 kg
- Underweight 10 - 12 kg
- Overweight 17 -22 kg
- < 145 9 - 14 kg
- Kembar 17 - 22 kg
Selama hamil, sebaiknay ibu tidak melakukan pekerjaan yang berat

FUNGSI MAKANAN BERGIZI BAGI IBU HAMIL ADALAH :


1. Menjaga kesehatan dan gizi ibu
2. Pertumbuhan organ janin
3. Kelancaran persalinan
4. Mempersiapkan produksi ASI

AKIBAT GIZI IBU HAMIL TIDAK MENCUKUPI :


Akibat bagi ibu :
 Kurang darah  anemia -
 berat badan kurang atau lebih
 bengkak  'edema -
 gangguan kesehatan
 tekanan darah naik, lemah, perdarahan, dll -
 Mudah terkena infeksi
Akibat bagi janin :
 bayi lahir dengan berat kurang (BBLR)
 bayi lahir prematur
 anak mudah terserang penyakit
 Kecerdasan anak kurang
 Keguguran
 cacat bawaan
 Perkembangan terhambat
 anak lahir mati
 Kematian neonatal
Akibat terhadap proses persalinan :
 Persalinan sulit dan lama
 Perdarahan setelah lahir
GANGGUAN YANG SERING TERJADI PADA IBU HAMIL :
 Enek dan muntah
biasanya terjadi pada keadaan makan sehingga sebaiknya diberikan
makanan dalam bentuk kering, porsi kecil dan sering. Misalnya : roti bakar /panggang, biskuit, craker
dll. Minuman diberikan ½ jam setelah makan. Misalnya : air $eruk, air tomat, air rebusan kacang
hijau.
 Kurang darah
Ibu dianjurkan agar memilih bahan makanan yang tinggi kadar besinya. Misal : sayuran hijau tua,
kacang-kacangan, telur, ikan, daging. jangan lupa minum tablet besi 1 butir sehari
 Gigi rontok dan tulang pinggul rapuh
Ibu dianjurkan makan makanan sumber zat kapur
 )alsium -
Misal : kacang-kacangan, ikan teri, sayuran hijau, susu
 Nafsu makan kurang
Ibu dianjurkan makan makanan yang segar-segar, Misal : buah-buahan dan sayur segar.
KEANEKARAGAMAN MAKANAN IBU HAMIL :
Makanan ibu hamil sebenarnya sama dengan ibu yang tidak hamil, hanya
jumlah dan mutunya saja yang ditingkatkan.
 Ibu hamil seharusnya makan 1 C kali dari biasanya
 Makanan dapat diberikan porsi kecil tapi sering
 Susunan makanan sehari-hari diusahakan selalu seimbang, makanan terdiri dari :
- Sumber zat tenaga : nasi, kentang, roti.
- Sumber zat pembangun : daging, ikan, telur, susu, tahu, tempe,
- Sumber zat pengatur : sayuran dan buah-buahan.
 bahan makanan yang perlu dibatasi adalah :
- cabe
- Makanan berlemak
- Makanan bergas
 durian, nanas, nangka -
- Makanan beralkohol
