Learning Competency; EN8 SS-IIe- 2.2 Compare and contrast own opinions with those presented in
familiar text.

I. Objectives: at the end of the lesson the students are expected to:
1. Analyze the story “The Two Brothers”
2. Use graphic organizers to compare and contrast characters from the story
3. Compare and contrast own opinion to what is presented in the story

II. Subject Matter:

folktale which is considered as the oldest literary
piece believed to have been written 3000 years B.C.
