I. Objectives: at the end of the lesson the students are expected to:
1. Analyze the story “The Two Brothers”
2. Use graphic organizers to compare and contrast characters from the story
3. Compare and contrast own opinion to what is presented in the story

II. Subject Matter:

discuss which is about a folk tale entitled “The

The teacher instructed the learners to listen very
carefully and attentively to get the important
information needed for them to answer easily the
different activities that follows.

The story that you are about to listen is an Egyptian
folktale which is considered as the oldest literary
piece believed to have been written 3000 years B.C.
Do you know what continent does Egypt belong to? African Continent.

which is known as the Great Pyramid of Giza and the
oldest of the seven wonders of the world.
