PROSECUTOR: For the prosecution, Your Honor,
we are ready to present our witness,
________________. Your honor, we will be
presenting today the secretary of Mayor’s office of
San Diego considering that we cannot present the
private complainant in this case because he is in
dispose and I already advised him to bring to this
court a medical certificate duly notarized.
ATTY. 1: For the defense, ready Your Honor.
COC: On the witness stand.

you swear to tell the truth the whole truth and

WITNESS: Yes ma’am.
COC: Please state your name, age and other
personal circumstances.

age , residing at 123 ABC Street. San Diego,
presently working as Secretary at the Mayor’s
Office.
COC: Your witness, Fiscal.
PROSECUTOR: Your Honor We are offering the
testimony of this witness to prove the material
allegations in the information; to identify the
accused in this case and likewise to identify some
documents to this case and to testify on such other
matters as may be relevant your honor, Your
Honor. With the permission of the Honorable Court,
may we proceed your Honor.
PROSECUTOR: Madam Witness. You mentioned
that you are a secretary at the Mayor’s Office of
San Diego. Is that Correct Madam Witness?
WITNESS: Yes, your honor
PROSECUTOR: What proof do you have to show
that you are the Secretary of the said Office?
WITNESS: I have my I.D.
PROSECUTOR: Your honor the ID has already
been marked as exhibit C during the pretrial.
PROSECUTOR: What is the schedule of your work
at Office of the Mayor?

this case?
WITNESS: Yes, your honor.

MAYOR: Kinagagalak kong makasama kayong
lahat sa araw na ito, mga kapatid, kababayan at
aking mga tinuturing pamilya. Ngayong araw na ito,
ginugunita natin ang isang pagkakataon kung saan
tayo’y gagawa ng isang kasaysayan. Ang
pagbubukas ng limang palapag na paaralan na ito
ay isang simbolo para sa ating mag-aaral na
pagbigyang tuunang pansin ang pagtaas ng kalidad
ng ating edukasyon. Kulang kulang sa walong
daang milyon ang naging umpisa para maipatayo
ang gusaling ito at kung makikita natin hindi
napupunta sa wala ang buwis na binibigay natin sa
bayan. Kung kaya’t mga kababayan ko, tayo na’t
magkaisa para sa isa’t isa. Maraming salamat po.
WITNESS: Matangkad po siya, medyo kayumanggi
at itim ang buhok… Makapal po ang kilay nito at

WITNESS: Isa po si mayor sa mga kasama sa
pagpapatayo ng 800 million school building sa
Brgy. San Jose, kasama sina Congressman Jose
at Counselor Juan. Pero sa totoo lang po ay halos
200 million lang po ang nagastos nito gamit ang
mga low quality materials.
MAYOR: (Uupo sa gilid at makikipagchismisan sa
Congressman at counselor)

COUNSELOR: Mayor ______, eto nga pala yung
natirang kalahating bilyon sa project natin sa school
building, pashower naman kayo mayor.

Nagkaroon din sila ng project sa pagpapaayos ng

ng mga kacorrupt’an nila, your Honor! Nakalista po
sa mga dokumentong eto ang mga ebidensya para
mapatunayan ang mga sinasabi ko, Your Honor.
PROSECUTOR: I have no further question your
honor. If the complainant is ready your honor. We
will present him next hearing.
COURT: Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I am
now going to read to you the law that you must
follow in deciding this case.
To prove the crime charged against the defendant,
the prosecution must prove three things to you:
First, that the defendant took a excess fund from
the fund of the people;
Second, that the defendant did not give the audit
about the projects executed; and
But if you believe the prosecution did not prove any
one of these things beyond a reasonable doubt,
then you must find the defendant not guilty.
(FAST FORWARD)
COC: The jury finds the defendant guilty.
COURT: The jury is thanked and excused. Court is

MAYOR: Dahil sa kapangyarihan kinain ako ng
kasakiman ko, tama sila, hindi naman ako ganun
dati, pero anong nangyari sakin ngayon? Eto ba
talaga ang gusto kong mangyari nung tumatakbo
pa lang ako? Diba hindi naman?
NARRATOR: Sa huli, napagtanto ni Mayor, na mali
ang maging gahaman, hindi sa lahat ng bagay ay
pera ang magpapatakbo sa buhay natin. Dahil dito
nahanap nito ang tunay na kahulugan ng kasiyahan
sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay tulong sa kanyang
mga kapwa preso habang nakakulong ito.
Tinutulungang niya itong makapagipon sa
kanilang pagpyansa at binibigyan ng sapat na
tulong para sa mga naiwan nilang pamilya sa labas
ng preso gamit ang natitira nitong pera.

Third, that the defendant intended to take away the

money of the people, either permanently or
temporarily
If each of you believes that the prosecution proved
all three of these things beyond a reasonable
doubt, then you should find the defendant guilty.
