Directions: Answer the following question by predicting the outcome based on the situations given. Answer in complete

1. A table is pushed from the from the left with a force of 30N. The table is 5.5kg and the frictional force from the floor is
known to be 12N. Will the table move? Why or why not?

2. A gymnast weighing 65kg holding onto a bar, is suspended motionless in mid-air. The bar is supported by two ropes
with tension of 80N each that attach to the ceiling. Will the ropes snap? Explain your answer.
