Mirianne Basic Guide

Foreword

King’s Raid ultimate jailbait (she’s 12), Sonia’s bestie/sister and, of course, Japan server
favourite child. I hope to help anyone who wants Mirianne to be their main DPS. This
guide will mainly focus on her PVE aspects (and with minor mentions of her PVP side).

1 Character Overview

Name: Mirianne
Class: Assassin
Damage Type: Magic
Position: Middle

Description: Miri is mainly a single-target (ST) assassin but has some AOE damage capabilities. Miri’s
skills are simple and effective, thus making her very beginner-friendly. She does ok in farming content
such as raids and is capable of very high single target burst and potentially one-shotting enemies when
played manually.

Mirianne boasts high Def Ignore damage and single target burst. Her damage mainly comes from her s3,
which deals regular damage first and then extra DEF ignoring damage when facing non-Heroes enemies.
With her Soul Weapon (SW) at Advancement 2 (A2), the first part of her S3 will also ignore DEF. The
high DEF ignoring damage makes her very effective against enemies with high defense such as the bosses
in the Technomagic Raids. With all her abilities combined, her high burst damage is quite scary in PVP
as well.

As mentioned above, Miri has some AOE capability with her s2. Her T5D reduces all her skills’ cooldown
by 50% whenever she kills an enemy. This breaks a large group into smaller one-on-one battles. Miri
defeats an enemy, uses her s2 AOE attack, then moves right onto the next one and repeats. Gives her
some ability to deal with large groups.

Despite not being the current meta, Mirianne is still good at what she does, which is being DPS with
high single target burst and bait in Yuri fanarts of her and Sonia.

3 Party Composition
Since Mirianne is a Magic DPS, you would want to build a team that can help supplement her damage

4 Perks
4.1 Tier 1

Attack Up
Relevance: High
In-game text: ATK is increased by 30%
Description: Like any other main DPS, this perk is a must-have.

Hp Up
Relevance: Low
In-game text: HP is increased by 30%
Description: This perk is not a priority. Since Mirianne is a main DPS, her
goal is to deal as much DMG as possible. You can use this in places where
“Monster Hunter” doesn’t work (eg. PVP etc.) to make Miri a bit tankier.

Def Up
Relevance: Low
In-game text: DEF is increased by 35%
Description: This perk is situationally useful if you are using Miri as a
budget magic team tank in Trial of the Sky.

Crit Resist Up
Relevance: Low
In-game text: Crit Resistance is increased by 250
Description: This perk is only relevant in PVP.

Monster Hunting
Relevance: High
In-game text: Increases DMG to Non-Hero enemies by 10% and takes 10%
reduced DMG.
Description: Another must have for any DPS in PVE due to its DMG
increase. Note that this perk is ineffective against hero enemies like the boss
of Dark Legion and enemies in certain ToC floors.

4.2 Tier 2

Target Weakness
Relevance: Very High
In-game text: ATK rises by 20% and DEF Penetration rises by 200.
Description: Mirianne always wants to have more ATK and extra
Penetration.

Swift and Nimble


Relevance: Low (in PVE)
In-game text: Per every sec, Dodge rate is increased by 100. This effect
can be stacked up to max 5 times, and resets upon dodging an Attack.
Description: This perk has more uses in a PVP situation.

Tactical Foresight
Relevance: Low (in PVE)
In-game text: Dodge rate is increased by 200 and takes 10% reduced
DMG.
Description: Similar to ”Swift and Nimble” which has more uses in PVP.
However this perk has an extra 10% DMG reduction.

Opportune Strike
Relevance: Mid to High
In-game text: Crit Chance is increased by 150 and Crit DMG is increased
by 30%.
Description: Miri should have at least 100% CRIT. You can choose this
perk instead of S4L for an extra 30% C.DMG but only 150 CRIT (vs 400
CRIT from S4L).

Vital Detection
Relevance: Mid
In-game text: Upon attack, causes the target to take 10% increased All
DMG and have their ATK Spd reduced by 100 for 10 sec. This effect
activates once every 3 sec.
Description: If you feel like “Opportune Strike” is unnecessary then you
can take this perk for another 10% amp. But in general, “Opportune Strike”
is much more preferred.

4.3 Tier 3

(S1L)
Relevance: Mid to High (if 1 enemy)
In-game text: When there is 1 enemy, DMG is boosted by 100%.
Description: Her s1 is not her main DMG skill. But if you have spare TP
to spend in a situation against a single enemy, this perk can help.

(S1D)
Relevance: Low to Mid
In-game text: Stun duration is increased by 1 sec.
Description: This is more of a PVP perk to help Miri stun and opponent a
bit longer.

(S2L)
Relevance: Low to Mid
In-game text: Gain CC immunity while using said skill.
Description: This is another PVP perk. It can help out if you don’t want
her s2 AOE to be interrupted.

(S2D)
Relevance: Low to Mid
In-game text: Stun duration is increased by 2 sec.
Description: This is mainly a PVP perk but can be used in PVE as well
for its AOE stun. However, it’s generally not needed in PVE.

(S3L)
Relevance: Mid to High (PVP)
In-game text: Dispels target’s positive effects and inflicts Stun for 1 sec.
Description: This is yet another PVP perk and is strong against builds
that rely on buffs to survive.

(S3D)
Relevance: Very High
In-game text: DMG is increased by 40%.
Description: S3D is a must-have perk for PVE (and even PVP in some
setups). Miri’s S3 is her bread and butter skill. This perk works well with
her UT3 and her Soul Weapon in making her S3 her main damaging ability.

(S4L)
Relevance: Mid to High
In-game text: When there are enemies inflicted by Skill 1, Crit Chance is
increased by 400.
Description: When Miri doesn’t have 100% CRIT from gear and allies or
your enemies have CRIT RES, you can use this perk. Other than that, this
perk is overkill. You can choose this perk instead of “Opportune Strike“ for
400 CRIT instead of just 150 CRIT at the cost of 30% CRIT DMG.

(S4D)
Relevance: Low
In-game text: Receives 30% reduced DMG when enemy is inflicted by Skill
1.
Description: In order to maximize Mirianne’s dps, you should rely on
supports to keep her alive, making this perk a low priority.

4.4 Tier 5

(T5L) - [Light]
Relevance: High to Very High
In-game text: ATK, DEF, HP +15% / Crit DMG +20%
Description: If you have nothing else to spend TP on, T5L is always a
good pick for a DPS for its ATK boost.

(T5D) - [Dark]
Relevance: None or High
In-game text: Upon killing an enemy, all skill cooldown is reduced by 50%,
and recovers 1 orb of mana.
Description: This perk is a must have for content where she can kill mobs
endlessly (e.g. Eclipse). On the other hand, it’s useless in contents where she
can’t kill enemies in rapid succession (e.g. GC1, WB1, etc.).

5 Relevant Builds

6 Unique Treasures

(UT1)
Relevance: Mid
In-game text: Increases DMG by (0) and reduces the target’s M.Crit
Resistance by 500 for 10 sec. [(0): 20%, 24%, 29%, 35%, 42%, 50%]
Description: UT1 is more of a PVP UT and enables her to instantly kill a
low health opponent with just her s1.

(UT2)
Relevance: Low
In-game text: Reduces Mana Cost by 1 and upon Crit Hit recovers (0)
Mana. [(0): 160, 190, 230, 270, 330, 400]
Description: This UT has next to no uses in PVE. In PVP, UT1 is
preferred over UT2.

(UT3)
Relevance: Very High
In-game text: DMG is increased by 50% and upon Crit Hit increases own
ATK by (0) for 10 sec. [(0): 10%, 12%, 14%, 17%, 21%, 25%]
Description: This is her main UT for PVE and even great in PVP. It
boosts Miri’s s3 DMG by another 50%. Keep in mind that her UT3 ATK
boost doesn’t have 100% uptime if you don’t have any CDR effects.

(UT4)
Relevance: Low
In-game text: Increases ATK boost by 50%. Every 5 sec, stuns enemies
under Target Lock On for (0) sec. [(0): 1, 1.2, 1.4, 1.7, 2.1, 2.5]
Description: UT3 provides a greater damage boost over this UT. Generally
you want Miri to deal more damage and want to leave crowd control to other
heroes on your team.

7 Gear Lines and Runes

Below are some options of gear lines which you should look out for and how important they are to maxi-
mize her DPS.

Stat Option Relevance

ATK Very High: All DPS should have high ATK, Miri is no exception.

High: Miri should always have 100% CRIT after team buffs and
CRIT
transcendence perks.

Mid to High: Miri should have some C.DMG so that when she CRIT
C.DMG
she will deal even more DMG.

Mid: Miri’s main DMG skill is DEF Ignore anyway so Pen is not
overly important (especially when supports already give Pen such as
Penetration
May or Lavril). But she should have some so her Auto Attack can deal
more DMG.

Low: Her UW already gives 500 ATK SPD (at 5*). With the
ATK SPD
Swiftness perk from Priest, she would already softcap her ATK SPD.

Low: Generally Miri will get enough mana from supports. But in
MP/Attack content with high mana drain (Ascalon, Labyrinth debuff or PVP) it’s
good to have 1 or 2 lines.
