Purpose
The purpose of this guide is to help new players understand the mechanics of the game and
ease them into the early game progression. Destiny Child themselves have a very basic guide
which can be viewed here: https://moot.us/lounges/73/boards/403
As such, I will not be covering what they have. I will be constantly updating the guide when new
features are released.

Recommended Childs when Rerolling
Name: Dana
Type:
Dana is the most powerful tank in the meta, giving a 35% increase in defense
as well as a 1400 HP shield to 5 allies on her slide. She helps trivialise PvE and
PvP by increasing the whole teams survivability making her viable in all
situations.

Name: Maat
Type:
Maat shines due to her drive skill, reviving one ally and healing 3 allies with the
lowest hp. She also has a cleanse on tap and heal to all allies on slide. She is a
must have for most raid teams and is a huge boon for underground making sure
that your main team stays alive throughout. She can also be good for manual
PvP, with her revive allowing for some clutch plays.

Name: Chang’e
Type:
Chang’e is currently the best support unit, with cooldown reduction as well as
charge gauge boost on slide and the game breaking instant charge on tap, she
is a must have for almost all teams regardless of objective.

Additionally a tier list exists here in case you want to check if your “Waifu”/”Husbando” is good:

Starting Out

To-Dos

As a new player, there are several goals to work towards to.

1. Devil Fiesta
Devil Fiesta gives a lot of rewards and a 5* Child ticket at the end of completion. All missions
can be completed beforehand, which means it is actually possible to complete them all day 1;
rewards cannot be claimed until the respective day has been reached. Below is everything
needed to complete Devil Fiesta:
1. Reach Candidate Lv. 25
2. Clear up to Normal 3-2-4 in Story Mode
3. Play through all event dungeons 12 times
4. Explore the 1st area of exploration mode for 1 hour 5 times
5. Challenge Underground a total of 4 times
6. PvP 18 times
7. Use friend gacha 7 times
8. Enhance Equipment 35 times
9. Awaken 1 Child to S class
10. Max level 5 3* Childs
11. Level a 4* Child to 40
12. Uncap 2 Childs
13. Skill level up 35 times

2. Tutorial Quests
Tutorial Quests can be found in the My Room section and going through them will net you a free
5* Child ticket. These can be completed within the first 10 minutes.

3. Story Mode
Clearing Story Mode on normal should be the priority. Story mode gives a lot of crystals and
free childs that will help in building a proper team. Currently, you can only clear up to Hard 3-8.

4. Dailies
Liza’s daily tasks are rather simple to do and can be completed within half an hour. Prioritise it
as it is the only way to earn Blood Gems for f2p players other than events.

5. Testing your limits

At the end of each day its good to test how far into the Event Dungeons and Underground you
can go. Work at each stage one by one so that you are accustomed to their strengths. The
recommended power levels don’t reflect the actual power you need for that stage. Depending
on the team composition, you can have a rating of more than 20k power lower than the
recommended and still be able to clear. If you’re having trouble clearing with full auto, then
playing manual is a good way to bruteforce the dungeon until your team is stronger.

Early Game Team Composition

The main objective of an early game team is to be able to clear all of the story mode content.
Teams for story content are mainly composed of: 2 ,1 ,1 and 1 (Speed buffer).
At this stage you should be running the 5*s you have along with a few 4 or 3*s to fill in the gaps.
Do note that certain 4*s do stand out from the pack and in some situations are better than 5*s
especially those Tier 6 and below. Below are 4*s to watch for.

Name: Elysion
Type:
The strongest 4* attacker due to her poison damage. Can easily replace most
5* attackers.

Name: Artemis
Type:
Insane burst damage for a 4* due to her ignore defense and self crit chance
buff.
Name: Innana
Type:
Like Artemis, she does a lot of single target burst damage, however without the
crit buff.

Name: Sonnet
Type:
A weaker version of Elysion.

Name: Tisiphone
Type:
Has lifesteal on both tap and slide and good damage numbers.
Name: Leda
Type:
Categorised as a support but really shes a healer. She is the best healer out of
all the 4*s at higher uncaps and when paired with another healer guarantees
survival.

Name: Melpomene
Type:
A budget Pantheon, allows for your attackers to do some insane damage with
crit rate and crit atk up.

Name: Kirinus
Type:
Budget speed buffer.
Name: Mayahuel
Type:
Budget speed buffer with confuse on drive.

Name: El Dorado
Type:
Great taunt tank, however needs healers to support the damage she soaks.

Name: Isabelle
Type:
Works well in a full dark team.
Name: Thoth
Type:
Budget Dana but for full water team.

Name: Zelos
Type:
Great heal numbers on 2 allies.

Name: Pomona
Type:
Great heal numbers but on 3 allies.

For a list of the 3* and 4* worth investing in, check the #faq-section section in DC International.
Currencies and what they should be used for
Gold should primarily be used for gold summons, followed by upgrading and uncapping of
units and equipment. Not only is gold summon a great source of onyx, it’s also gives a chance
5* child. However, if you need to uncap or evolve childs, then those take priority instead.

Onyx has two uses: Awakening and skill leveling. Prioritise Awakening first for increased
base stats.

Crystals be used for buying stamina, resetting dungeon/raid/pvp/underground attempt

counts, summoning as well as resetting raid shop. Priorities are as follows: Summoning
childs>Summoning Soul Carta>Buying Ragna tickets>Resetting daily dungeon attempt
counts>Buying stamina.

Whaling Responsibly *this is in USD*:

Monthly Package 1: 779.51 per dollar
Monthly Package 2: 667.41 per dollar
Premium Sale 1: 160.64 per dollar
Premium Sale 2: 205.78 per dollar
18,260 Crystals: 202.91 per dollar
8,750 Crystals: 198.91 per dollar
5,100 Crystals: 196.23 per dollar
1,580 Crystals: 175.75 per dollar
735 Crystals: 163.70 per dollar
430 Crystals: 172.69 per dollar

Blood Gems is the rarest currency in the game, used for buying items in the Scarlet Market
and for summoning from Blood Gem Banners, as well as costumes in the costume shop. The
main thing to buy from Scarlet Market is the element specific 5* Child ticket. Water ticket has the
best pool, followed by light. It’s not recommended to buy the enhancement orbs, evolution
material childs, or the max exp enhancement childs. In the KR version there was a Hall of
Rebirth(future update), where you were able to reroll 4*s for 5*s, 5*s for other 5*s and 5*s for 5*
lvl. 50s using Blood Gems and Onyx. However, the JP version uses a flower currency instead of
blood gems. However, we still recommend saving them up for the possibility that Global version
will follow KR’s rebirth system.
Rumble Coins should only be used on buying Evolution materials or 5* A rank equipment,
ignore everything else.

Friend Points ; no explanation here, they only have one use: .

Tips
Prioritise events over everything else as events sometimes give limited equipment/childs and
overall are just very rewarding.

Exploration can be used as a crystal mine and is much better than putting a 5 or 4* unit in there
to level. When a child reaches max level it will give you x crystals, x being the child’s max level.
Take 25 2* units and dump them in for 19 hours (12+6+1) for 20 crystals per each max level 2*,
which comes out to roughly 500 crystals per day and 15,000 per month assuming you do not
miss a day. (No Limit)

Undergrounds recommended power is overstated. Normal Underground can be attempted

starting from 20k power and Hard underground can be completed starting from 40k power. Of
course this is also dependant on your line-up. In case any of your units die in battle just escape
from the battle and try again, and the status of all units will be reset to right before the battle.

For a quicker ease of leveling refer to the below spreadsheet for the most exp efficient areas.
Generally you want to auto at the highest area your team can reliably clear. The node inside the
stage does not affect the effect the exp you receive(i.e. Boss node gives the same exp as the
first node). Make sure to take advantage of the 2 days of Hot Time every week from Friday 5
PM PST to Sunday 5 PM PST.

smg/edit#gid=1343689533 (Compiled by Midnght)
Friends are very important. Make as many active friends as possible for increase in friend points
gain as well as raid clears.

Try to not go over stamina cap as the amount of recovered stamina loss can be huge.

Equipment that gives increases to 2 stats are always better than those that boost 1 stat. Refer
to the pins for the stats of each equipment.

The order for highest stat gain to lowest goes as follows:

Evolution > Levels > Awakening > Uncap
Mid to late game progression
At this point in time your main team should be at least 40k power and you should have cleared
story mode up to 7-8-4 on Normal.

Mid game progression is all about building up your Ragna Raid teams, equipment, and Soul
Carta.

Equipment Farming
Equipment farming is generally very simple. Do your hard underground daily for your 5* B rank
equipment to upgrade. If you get lucky and get a good A rank 5*, then congratulations. Don’t
invest in rank C 5*. Use them as fodder to get your As and Bs to +15. The only other way to get
5* A rank equipment is from events and tickets as well as raid drops and raid shop. Do not use
gold summon to farm equipment as the rates for an A rank 5* are abysmal.

R8/edit?usp=sharing

Late game progression

Late game involves a similar goal for all game modes: Maxing out your team and preparing for
future content. This involves upgrading each child to 6 stars and leveling them to 60, leveling 4
and 5 star Soul Carta to their maximum respective levels, and having enough sets of maxed
equipment for your PvP, Rebirth Labyrinth, Ragna Break, and World Boss teams.

For PvE:

Clear all story content, including hard mode, with 3 star rating.

Be able to clear Level 4 Rebirth Labyrinth 2 star difficulty or higher consistently on full auto.

Prepare for Ragna Break Bosses of each element.

Prepare for World Bosses of each element.

For PvP:

Have a strong enough team that you can use to maintain Platinum 5 each week, and be able to
push to top 100 if time allows for it.

For all late game players, saving crystals for important childs is a must. Don’t pull on any
banners that only have the original 35 in the pool, and think carefully before pulling for childs
that will only be relevant for certain Ragna Break elements.
