4”1/2 Liner Cement job

- Liner hanger set, running tool disconnected, circulation with 650 l/mn during
30 min without problems :
- Pre-job meeting on rig floor
- Pressure test cement line to 5000 psi/10 min if not done
- Start mixing slurry and continue circulation

- AVA mud engineer and Geoservices record all mud pit levels
- Cement slurry ready : with rig pump, pump 3 m3 diesel at 600 l/mn and
displace to rig floor with 70 strokes mud
- Line up to cement unit

- CEMENT JOB :

- 1) pump 10 m3 (63 bbls) MSCB spacer at 4 BPM

2) pump 11.50 m3 cement slurry 1.85 SG at 4 BPM
3) pump 0.24 m3 (1.5 bbl) mud
- 4) drop pump down plug (check flag indicator)
- 5) displace with 35 bbls mud at 5 BPM Total : 35
- 20 bbls spacer Total : 55
- 105 bbls mud at 5 BPM Total : 160
- Slow down pump rate at 3 BPM to observe pump down plug shearing liner
wiper plug : theorical 168 bbls
- After plug sheared or total pumped 175 bbls, resume displacement 5 BPM
- Reduce flow to 2 BPM after 190 bbls displaced in total
- Theorical bump 204.7 bbls, maximum 206 bbls
- Bump plug and test inside liner with 4500 psi / 15 min by increments of 500 psi
- Bleed off pressure and check for back flow
If no losses during cement job, plug bumped and liner test positive :
- Set packer following Weatherford liner operator instructions
- Packer set, with rig pump, direct circulation 20 m3 mud at 1500 LPM to clean
out top of liner (1260 strokes)
- Integrity pressure test (9”5/8 + 7”+ 4”1/2) with cement unit with 4000 psi / 15
min by increments of 500 psi
- Circulate long way and dump spacer and cement excess
- POOH and lay down liner running tool
