Subject: Pulau Perahu

Hi Zul,

Recently, my family and I made a holiday trip to Pulau Perahu. It was a wonderful trip and we
enjoyed ourselves very much. The water is crystal clear and the island is unspoilt. We even fed the
hornbills which came out in droves in the evening.

Our only disappointment was the unsightly dumping ground we encountered during our tour around
the island. The stench from the rubbish was unbearable.

I’ve emailed the relevant authorities about it. I hope they will find and alternative site to do a proper
landfill, away from the tourist belt.

Zaid

8. Zaid was unhappy with Pulau Perahu because of the

A. noisy hornbills.
B. crystal clear water.
C. unpleasant smell of rubbish.
