“What does it mean to love the country you were born?”

To love the country is the noblest feeling that a human being can feel. From childhood, my
parents told me that we must love our Motherland and respect it. After all, we have one country
and everyone loves it in their own way. When I hear the word Motherland, I immediately
remember the forest, the lake, the beauty of nature, the love of my parents, the respect of each
other.
To love for the Motherland is the dignity of every person. In my opinion the people should
fight for their country for all their strength, even if these forces are not equal. You need to love
your country in the same way as your family. Firstly, we owe the Motherland, as well as our
friends - the truth. Motherland, like a mother, must be loved from birth and we should protect it.
For some people, the Motherland is their village, street, home, memories, customs and traditions.
Sometimes it is very difficult to love your country, because there is a lot of injustice in the world,
and not always everything happens the way we would like. At such moments, we begin to blame
our Motherland, forgetting that it does not exist by itself, it is made up of people.
It is important when a person is ready to die for his native land, but it is even more
important that he is ready to live for her. Only empty people do not feel a wonderful and sublime
feeling for the Motherland. To love your Motherland you don't have to be a soldier, you just need
to keep it and do everything for it so that it feels good. If each person protects nature, then this
will be the same as defending his homeland. Loving the Motherland mean to help, to support the
people when it is difficult for them. They are the Motherland.
From my point of view, the patriotism can be developed from childhood, from history
lessons, from laying flowers to heroes, from respect for traditions and acceptance of religion. All
these events lay the foundation in our consciousness that we need to love our Motherland, and
try to show it to her in every little detail, as she does it for us.
