1.1.Introduction

Mathematical graph usually is used to represent a data of a particular research of a sample and
the relation of the elements are represented in the graph.In this essay, I would like to discussed a
graph for Worldwide Wii Console Sales for 10 years(2006-2016).The word “Console” refers to
a video game console which is standardized computing device tailored for video gaming that
requires a monitor or television set as an output It is the best-selling game system around the
world Nintendo Co., Ltd is a Japanese multinational electronics and video game company
headquartered in Tokyo.Nintendo was found by Fusajiro Yamauchi on 23 September 1889 as
Hanafuda playing cards at first the specific aim of this essay is to explore the events occur on
console sale graph, the increase ad decrease on the sale , the reason or background why there is
any increase or decrease on the console sale.

Y-axis:Annual Sale.

X-axis:Date/year.

1.2.Pre-research interpret.

As we can see from the graph above, it displays the rate of Nintendo Wii console sale for
over 10 years, starts from 2006-2016.From 2006-2008 , the sale had increase(boom peak) from
4-25 millions.However there were significant increase on those years, start from 2008-2016, the
Nintendo company’s console sale had decreased slowly.Especially, start from 2013-2016 shows
significant low rate of sale for the Nintendo Company.

1.3.Post-Interpret.

It has been stated that the graph displays the rate sale of Wii Nintendo.There must be
backgrounds that affect the rate sale of this Wii item.The background from the years have
different background that result on the changing for the rate sale

From 2006-2008 the Nintendo Company has a significant increase) or boom peak on its Wii
console sale.On September 14 2006, Nintendo Company released the console sale of the game
items massively for Japan, North and South America, Australia, Asia and Europe.In Japan,
Nintendo leads the market with its total sale until November 2007 and on 2008 it became the
best-selling homo console ini Japan.In Australia, the selling Wii exceed the record set by the Xbox
360 to become the fastest-selling game console in Australian history.In North America, the selling
Wii on Not America market reached 30 million since the console launch on November 2006.The
demand on Wii item still outspaced the supply in America market.As the demand increased,
Nintendo increase the production as well where they produced 2.4 million Wii units a month
worldwide, compared to 1.6 million per month in 2007.Nintendo officially reported the increase on
operating profit for its fiscal years and a rise in its sales-setting record.From the graph, the rate of
console sale started to decreases from 2008 but precisely started to decreased from 2009 where
they experienced the first drop on the Wii prices especially in USA, Europe, and Japan markets.

There are many factors that caused the decreasing on Wii sale.Factors like more competitors over
the year, the demand decreased, game online, etc.

The graph above display that Nintendo's home game consoles have sold less and less well as the
years have gone on.Competitor factor is one of the reasons why Wii rate of sale decreased as the
competitor can reduce the demand on Wii item.Wii rivals such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in
next-gen gaming are able to defeat the Wii sale in the markets.More improved innovation from the
rivals, Wii U also has fairly low specifications compared to PlayStation 4 and Xbox one, it also
lacks some prominent next-gen features is why Wii sale decreased.

1.4.Analysis.

The statistic science are applied on this graph first graph but specifically the modelling
relationship.The x-axis is for the date , month, and year of the console sale.The y-axis is for the
rate sale or revenue sell from the indicated year.The graph visualizes how many console sale/rate
sale produced in a determined year or simply the trend of console sale in 10 years.We have
discussed the background why there is any rise or fall in the sale that shown by the graph with the
line that goes up and down.How does the graph can have a shape like that?Each point from x-
axis only have one point also with the y-axis.On 2006-2008 the console sale experienced rise
rapidly which from 4-25 million on the console sale.The Nintendo company reaches a peak in
2008 as the highest point.It is why the one goes up.Start from 2008-2010, the sale start falling but
not to significant.2010-2012 shows a significant falling on the sale.And, from 2012-2016 the
console sale keeps decrease.2014-2016 the sale reaches a low point and show a constant
sale.The graph visualizes the falling on the sale with the line that goes down whilst for the remain
sale with the constant line.The highest console sale is in 2008 and the lowest console sale is in
2016.

Take the example for another graph in above, where it displays the trend of the console sale but
with percentage.The x-axis line for the years and y-axis for the unit and percentage of console
sale.On November 2009, the Wii console sale reaches the highest point and along with the
highest percentage.The blue charts indicates the monthly sales and the red line is the trend of the
sale.

1.5.Conclusion

Graph enable us to explain a situation and the relationship between variables.The graph
above is an example that shows the relationship between years and Wii console sales. Increasing
and decreasing Wii sales is indicated by lines that go up and down.The trend of the graph is the
core that draws deeper into the situation.The Wii console sale for 10 years hasn’t be too
profitable.The line that goes up for year 2006-2008 shows a rise on the sale and the line that
goes down for years 2008-2016 shows a fall on the sale.However, the graph only displays the
data in common not to detail.The Worldwide console only gives the range for the rate sale in y-
axes line.Compare to the second graph on 1.4, the graph provides the variables detail.The
amount of monthly sale, the percentage are complete display on the paragraph.he graph helps us
to draw an interpretation and analysis about the relation, the variables, and the representation of
whole situation in the real life.
