Prepare your SLAS and look back at our lessons from day 6 to 10. These lessons will be your guide as you compose your short story. 2. Your short story is freestyle (compose it however you like it) and should be written in English, but should highlight relevant event/s of 2020. 3. Incorporate the elements of a short story to your composition (see module 6). 4. Make an original title for your story. 5. Your story should be minimum of two (2) pages and maximum of three (3). It could be handwritten or typed-written. 5. PLAGARISM is not allowed and will be given a 0 mark. 6. Overall score is 50 pts. Plot (20 pts.)
(Characters/Characterization, Setting/Atmosphere, Style) - Does the story have details that describe its structure? - Do the characters have names? - When and where the story take place? What is the atmosphere? - Are their ways or details which the author expresses himself and conveys his ideas and central purpose?
Mechanics (10 pts.)
- Is the story governing the technical aspects in writing, including spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and abbreviations?
