Islam

Islam is an Abrahamic religion teaching that there is only one God,

taking Muhammad as a messenger of God. (next slide)

It is the world's second-largest religion with 1.9 billion followers or 24.9% of

the world's population, known as Muslims. The primary scriptures of Islam are
the Quran, believed to be the word of God, as well as the teachings and actions of
Muhammad.

From a historical point of view, Islam originated in early 7th century in

the Arabian Peninsula, in Mecca, and by the 8th century, had extended widely to
the west and to the east. The Islamic Golden Age refers to the period traditionally
dated from the 8th century to the 13th century, during the Abbasid Caliphate, when
much of the historically Muslim world was experiencing a scientific, economic,
and cultural development.

It is also worth saying that Islam is not only a religion in its narrow meaning, but
also complex of social behavior, law, economics, all fundamental traditions and in
most cases they are very strict and are mandatory.

Another important point is criticism of Islam since the events of September 11,

2001, Islam has faced criticism over its scriptures and teachings being claimed to
be a significant source of terrorism and terrorist ideology. Also, other criticism
focuses on the question of human rights in modern Muslim-majority countries, and
the treatment of women in Islamic law and practice.

(Джудизм)

(Джудизм) is the world’s oldest (моносэистик) religion, dating back

nearly (фосаусенд) years. Followers of (Джудизм) believe in one God
who revealed himself through ancient (профетс). The history of
(джудизм) is essential to understanding the (Джуиш) faith, which has a
rich heritage of law, culture and tradition. It (инкомпасес) a wide body of
texts, practices, theological positions, and forms of organization. One of the main
texts is Torah, which is the part of the larger text known as the (ТанАк).

About beliefs: (джуиш) people believe there’s only one God who has
established a covenant—or special agreement—with them. Their God
communicates to believers through (профетс) and rewards good deeds
while also punishing evil. Most (Джюс) (with the exception of a few
groups) believe that their Messiah hasn’t yet come—but will one day.
(Джуиш) people worship in holy places known as synagogues, and their
spiritual leaders are called (рабайс). The six-pointed Star of David is the
symbol of (Джудизм).

(Джудизм) and Persecution: throughout history, (Джуиш) people have been

persecuted for their religious beliefs.
They were persecuted by both Muslims and Christians during the Crusade and of

Buddhism

Buddhism is a faith that was founded by Siddhartha Gautama (“the

Buddha”) more than (ту саузенд файв хандридс) years ago in India. With
about 470 (фор хандридс севенти) million followers, scholars consider
Buddhism one of the major world religions. (next slide)

Its practice has historically been most prominent in East and Southeast
Asia, but its influence is growing in the West. Many Buddhist ideas and
philosophies overlap with those of other faiths.
Beliefs : followers of Buddhism don’t acknowledge a supreme god. They
instead focus on achieving enlightenment—a state of inner peace and
wisdom. When followers reach this spiritual echelon, they’re said to have
experienced nirvana. The religion’s founder, Buddha, is considered an
extraordinary man, but not a god. The word Buddha means “enlightened.”

The path to enlightenment is attained by utilizing morality, meditation and

wisdom. Buddhists often meditate because they believe it helps awaken
truth.
And, as I know, Buddhism is a very tolerant and evolving religion, very
peaceful and all about philosophy
therefore, there are no such cases of persecution from other religions or no such
cases, when someone has been trying to impose Buddhism.
