In the future when I am finally an adult and make something of myself I will be a social
worker. A social worker helps people who have problems in their everyday life. They have to
assist those who might be affected by neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health, and
parental substance abuse (Anonymous, 2019, n. p.). The required education for this career is a
bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or any other related field. The cost of this
education will be $24,000 or more based on the college of my choosing. The expected salary for
a social worker is anywhere from 44k-72k, but the median salary is $58,193.
After completing the Career Budget Report I’ve realized that I’ve done a great job at
trying to make a budget plan for the future. While looking at the report, I had more than enough
money to do all the things I’ve wanted to do and still save money. I did make a few sacrifices
while planning this budget. I had to cut down on how often I would go out to eat or how much
money I would spend shopping for clothes to make sure I would still have enough money left
over. The reason why I cut down some of these luxuries was to stop myself from spending
