Thesis Topic : Indian National Football Center

AIM:

 The Aim of this project is to set up a home base for Indian Football and its National Teams, that will be a one
solution facility catering to all target audiences within the Indian Football ecosystem.

JUSTIFICATION:

 It’s really sad that the second most populated country in the world is so behind in sports, barring cricket. The
system does not have any concrete action to develop players of international level.

 Football is the second most followed sport in India next to cricket. Any sport has to be provided with a
professional setup and a formidable system for it to blossom in the future.

 The Indian Super League has been instrumental in increasing the popularity in India.The interest in Football in
India is growing and that’s visible from the interest among Clubs, and teams to play — starting from the youth
leagues. That is such a healthy sign as we need participation from all over, and not just from certain pockets .

 The overall infrastructure development with better quality coaches and top draw players cannot be ignored.
There is also a lack of of systematic and streamlined academies across the nation which will bring the finest
talents from the lowest level.

 By Establishing India’s First Ever State of the art facility for football the beautiful game can be developed and can
be the first step in making India a World Cup Playing Nation.

OBJECTIVE:

 The Primary Intent is to design a iconic and futuristic football center following international standards to enhance
Indian Football by focusing on health, wellness, science, technology, education, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

 It will become home to the Indian national team and their trainers, as well as a laboratory for future generations
helping to foster their careers.

 The National Football Centre will have facilities for women, men, and youth. Designed to cultivate top league
players, the project is also a destination for football fans to enjoy the story of Indian football culture.
SCOPE & LIMITATION:

 To provide the state of the art infrastructure,coaching and stadium adhering to FIFA standards to improve Indian
Football.
 The center will focus on football training,matches,scouting players.managing men and women national teams and
the state team.

 The center will have a gallery/interpretation center and separate fields for the use of the community people.

DESIGN PROGRAM:

 Stadium.
 The National/State Teams health and Accomodation facilities.
 Gallery for Indian Football.
 Supporting Training fields and recreation.
 Youth hostel.
 Office Block .
 Retail Block
 Training Facilities & Recreation for the community

AREA OF RESEARCH

 Different types of structure system and spacial design involved in Football Stadiums,Training Fields,Medical Centers
etc

 The standards provided by FIFA for construction of stadiums and training facilities

 In depth study of various services like HVAC, fire fighting, Drainage system etc.

 Study of human physiology, human comfort of the players and the managing staff and the circulation pattern of the
visitors.

AIM:

 The Aim of this project is to set up a new office campus for Microsoft India in Greater Noida in a major boost to the
state's efforts of drawing in investments.

JUSTIFICATION:

 Infromation Technology is defined as the design,development,implementation and management of computer based


information.

 It is a boon for employment.The IT sector contrubites to the overall GDP of the state and the countries economy.

 With Microsoft, one of the biggest global corporations, opening shop in the state, other sectors would also be
drawn towards the state.

 The microsoft campus in Greater Noida will also attract investment to the state and boost development in the region.

OBJECTIVE:

 The Primary Intent is to design a iconic Sustainable Techpark following international standards with all the necessary
amenities to serve as a premier facility for driving cutting edge innovation information technology.

 To design spaces with enhances the physical, visual interaction and reduce isolation

 To build on Microsoft’s commitment to tapping India’s world class engineering talent to create solutions for global
impact.

 To attract investment in Uttar Pradesh and boost development in the region.

 To Understand the need of office spaces with reference to the sustainable lifestyle.

 To provide an environment with ample open and recreational spaces in and around the project..

AIM:

 The Aim of this project is to set up a village for the youth community as a place that combines youth culture and
architecture to provide accommodation,recreation and other activities which

JUSTIFICATION:

 Youth don’t get adequate good quality accommodation facilities and a place to interact within themselves.

 Huge disparity in opportunities available/accessible to them.

 Poor guidance, training and lack of proper education and training at most critical life skills. Student
coming out from education institutes are incapable of finding good job due to lack of appropriate skills.

 Poor carrier guidance, career planning and mentor ship. Their are lot of jobs available but difference between
skills in demand and available skills is so vast. Youth didn't get good guidance to develop required skills so they
land in underpaid jobs or unsuitable jobs.

 The above are the main problems faced by the youth who are newly migrating to metropolitian cities.The Thesis
is to address the above mentioned problems

OBJECTIVE:

 To achieve a catalyst building that will act as a place for interaction,education,vocational training ,recreation
and accommodation

 To address the many issues that today’s youth face and aims to rethink the youth centre as a place that
combines youth culture and architecture to create a space that not only provides adequate recreational and
vocational opportunities but which is also representative of youth.

 To achieve collaboration across and within the community creating a catalyst building which would be a good
place to start

 To create spaces and experiences that inspire action and creativity and thus lead to self growth at an individual
level
