    Based on your understanding of Eph. 5: 21 - 33, does it teach subjection / submission of wives to
    their husbands?

    Yes. Submission of wives to husbands is out of faithfulness, like how we, servants of God offer
    ourselves to Him, hoping for salvation. Also, remember that before wives submit themselves to
    their husbands, both must first submit to one another in reverence for Christ, such as the Holy
    Matrimony.
