FOOD HUNT’11

Registration Fees: $56(non-early bird)/$50(early bird)
Team Size: 4 people per group
Booth details: 1-3 March 2011, along AS1 walkway, 12-4pm

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS

Event Information

1) Please report to NUS Central Forum by 8:30am, on 19/3/2011. Teams must report
before game starts at 9am. After which, teams that are not registered before game
commencement will be not allowed to join. Foodhunt will end at about 6pm.

2) Foodhunt is a food based race across Singapore. Games and food will be provided at
different location, where participants need to locate in order to score points. Team with
most points at the end point wins.

3) Prizes are as follows, 1st prize- FREE photoshoot (by Walletshots), 2nd prize- $200 off
photoshoot, 3rd prize- $100 off photoshoot

4) List of Things to Bring Along

COMPULSORY ITEMS
 Pens
 Digital camera with USB cable/memory card
 Ez-Link Card with value of at least $20
 One phone with dataplan + twitter application (and registered twitter account)
 Umbrella/raincoat

OPTIONAL ITEMS
 Water bottle
 Street Directory
 Bus guide (Available at Transitlink Office)

5) Besides the attractive prizes, enjoy different types of food all across Singapore with your
friends. Just make sure you are hungry.

Registration Procedures

6) Please retain pages 1-4 for your information and submit the completed team registration
form (pg 3) and indemnity forms (1 per participant).

7) All medical conditions should be stated in the registration form.

8) Commencement of Registration: 1-3 March 2011

9) Please submit all registration and indemnity forms of each participant to our booth
located along AS1 walkway.

10) Each team is required to pay $50 (early bird price) for administrative purposes. If
registration is made AFTER official registration dates (1-3 March), it will cost $56 for
registration. Payment must be made during foodhunt registration at our booth, if not
teams would not be considered to have registered for the event. Amount paid is non-
refundable.

11) Further information regarding Food Hunt 2011 will be forwarded to the Team ICs.

12) Should you feel unwell on the day of the event and are unable to turn up, please inform
us as soon as possible. Please contact Huimin at 81123576.

13) Withdrawal of participation, enquiries on registration, payment or information on the event


itself should be directed to Huimin via handphone at 81123576. Also, our booth will be
located at AS1 walkway (near central library) to answer all inquires.

Rules and regulations

I. There should be no cutting of queue when teams are at the stalls or your team will be
disqualified. Only one member from the team is allowed to queue for food.

II. Teams are to give one Makan Coupon with the specific stall name to the food stall owner in
order to get the food.

III. Teams are to abide by the rules and be respectful towards the stall owners; remember we
carry the name of the University!

IV. Teams are only allowed to take the bus and/or MRT and/or walk. Teams who take any other
modes of transportation such as taking a cab or driving their own vehicle to speed up their
advancement will not be legible for any prizes.

V. Teams are to abide by the games rules and listen to the station masters. Gameplay will be
released on the actual day.

VI. Please keep in mind that safety always comes first. You are responsible for your own safety
and personal belongings.

VII. Food provided is mostly not vegetarian or halal. We apologise for this limitation on our part.

VIII. Team IC is to remain contactable at all times, in case of any change/instructions during the
game itself.

IX. In events of any disputes, the Foodhunt organising committee decision is final. While all
necessary precautions and utmost care has been taken, the O Com reserves the right to

amend the rules and regulations without prior notice. We would appreciate your help in order
to make an informed decision, so please feel free to raise your point of view to us.
