Project Objective
The main objective of this requirement is to assess the ability of the student to compose properly
detailed and formatted technical drawings of real-life objects.
Requirement Weight
This submission will serve as the sole basis for your final grade in ES 1 Engineering Drawing. We
will be adopting a Pass or deferred grade basis only. No numerical grades will be given anymore.
Submission Rules
No hard deadline will be set for this, you may opt to submit this as early as you want, or as late
as you want. Just remember that you must submit it before May 2021.
For those who want to receive a grade before the start of the 1st semester, you must submit this
before June 30, 2020.
You will be allowed to resubmit as many times as you want, given that previous submissions have
been checked by your instructor already. If your work is not satisfactory, your instructor will
inform you of changes that need to be made and will ask you to resubmit a new/modified version
of your project.
Assessment Factors
Each assessment factor will be evaluated based on completeness, accuracy, and cleanliness.
Evaluation is subject to the teacher’s best judgement.
Please be reminded that the object you will be using should be pre-approved by your instructor.
For the purpose of this project, you will be required to draw an object which should have at least
two (2) separable components in the following views:
1. Multiview of the assembled object.
2. Isometric view of the assembled object.
3. Multiview of each of the two required components of the object.
