The organization selected for the final project is Bestway cement Ltd. This
organization plays a vital role for CSR in Pakistan as well as in United Kingdom.
There are six core values behind their success.

Introduction:
1. Vision Mission:
At the heart of Bestway group’s philosophy is the desire to help those who are
less fortunate than others by supporting them through charities and empowering
countries such as United Kingdom and Pakistan. The emphasis on giving back to
the less fortunate communities is a part and parcel of the board of directors well-
articulated corporate strategy. The Board of directors believes that it can
empower the disadvantaged sections of the local community by focusing on the
key factors of education and health both with the partnership with specialists and
independently. The Bestway Cement Ltd trusts embody the highest standards of
corporate social responsibility by supporting the local communities and
stakeholders who contributed to the success of this Company.
2. History:
When did they start?
In April 1998, Bestway started cement creation with the terminating of Kiln at its
Hattar plant, in Haripur Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. The plant started activities with
an underlying limit of 1.0 million tons for each annum which was additionally
improved to 1.15 million tons with a cap-ex of $20 million out of 2002, and later
to 1.25 million tons in 2004.
That same year, the company chose to set up a 1.8 million tons for every annum
plant in the village of Chakwal, Punjab. The Chakwal office started with an
Investment of $140 million and denoted the gathering's second Greenfield
improvement project which started creation in June of 2006. The same year,
Bestway bunch gained Mustehkam Cement in a privatization bid- a government-
owned cement office situated close to Hattar. Post-privatization, the organization
started an aggressive upgrade and modernization program, expanding
Mustehkam's ability to 1.2 million tons for each annum.
1) Organizational Structure:
The organizational structure of Bestway cement is that, on the top level, the
board of directors are present, moving down the lane comes the chairman of the
company, after that the chief executive is present below the company chairman,
moving further down the management is divided to 5 managerial positions of; 1.
Director works, 2. Director HR and admin, 3. Director project, 4. Director
coordination, 5. Director Finance.
Apart from all the, almost all the major decisions of the company are made by the
top-level management and implemented. But other decisions such as hiring of
employees is done by the Human Resource Management department and the
HRM department is very vigilant and active with their work. It is also the part of
company’s organizational structure to integrate HRM with all other functioning
departments like; marketing, finance, plants management.
They try their best to provide their products at vey low rates. They produce a
very high-quality product. Their work environment is safe and friendly, for the
people and the environment. They have achieved success in a short-period of
time. They have received many awards in CSR at national and international level.
