Second, she offers the purest love no one else could give. She has been with
me since day one and that was when I was conceived, she has dealt with all my
disasters and has seen me grow up making mistakes yet, she manages to find it
within herself to love me and always stay close to me. My mom has rare ways to

show me her love, for example, she would play around with me and act like
someone my age would act. There are also times where she would act like a
worried mother, I remember when I had gotten sick that I lost my appetite to eat
for 3 weeks straight without wanting to throw up. I would never forget those days
because she wouldn’t leave my side at all until I felt better. She was so caring that
it touches my heart every time I remember that moment, she may not be the
outspoken type of person, but as St. Ignatius quoted “Love is shown more in deeds
than in words.” No matter what I do, what mistakes I make, what I say, or how
much I upset her, my mother’s love for me will never subside; it will always be
unconditional. No matter how big the fight or disagreement, I can always count on
her to resolve the issue. As a child, as early as now, I always show my appreciation
and love for the priceless sacrifice she has done every day since we are born. For
this moment my brother and I were making our dreams come true and facing our
adult life and growth, but my mother is also getting old every day and that’s the
idea I can’t afford buying.
And lastly, she is the light in my darkness. She is the one who gives me
savage yet good advices. Those times when I feel like giving up, drowning because
of sadness and tearing up, she’s there to cheer me up! Just recently, I have
confessed something to her about how my past relationship goes on, I could see
the hint of pain in her eyes while I am trying to explain everything to her with tears
in my eyes. I see how her eyes speak saying “Thank you God for directing my
daughter to the right path.” Additionally, she would encourage me by simply
saying, "Complaining is a useless way to solve problems, but becoming active on
the issue is a great way to conquer it.” She has always had strong faith and views
in her religion. When I was younger, every day and night, she would bring prayer
time to me and my brother's attention. One lesson she taught us the most, was
how seriousness about our spiritual beliefs could provide us with a substantial,
stable, and structural lifestyle. Despite of the dark past she had experienced she
stood still and become more resilient each day that’s why I admire her more than
anyone else. I see myself in her eyes, and I hope in the future I could be as best
and great mother to my children like her.

Without a doubt, not all heroes wear capes, others wear invisible crowns. A
mother's love is rare and wonderful; that nothing can replace the space they have
in our hearts. My mother has been nothing, but influential and the center of my
universe. She never fails to force a smile on my face and inspire me to greatness.
She brought out the best in me, sacrifices everything, cares for me, and loves me
unconditionally. Through all the baby steps I’ve taken in my life so far, my mom
has been alongside me being supportive. My mom has always told us to take
advantage of my education because one day we would grow up to become someone
important. She told me to never give up and never let anyone or anything stop me
because I can make a change in the world and my life. To my mother, hang in
there, I am still working on my dreams, this one is for you. You are indeed the
phenomenal and best hero I ever have.
