"My Inspiration, My Foe, My Sister."

Specific Purpose Statement:
To express how my sister manages to stand on her own and reach success
despite the ups and downs and share her success with me.
Central Idea:
Is to express why my third is sister is my inspiration, my enemy, the one
whom I can always depend on and why she should be recognized.

Having a sister is both a gift and a curse anyway you look at it. A sister
is extraordinary to have because regardless of where you go or what you do,
you will always have your closest companion and mentor. You think your life
will be bliss when your sisters moved out from your parents house but
suddenly you see your best friends arent around anymore. Later in life, I
realize that all my sisters have basically become a part of me and if it wasnt
for my sisters I wouldnt be who I am today.
I have three siblings, all girls and are already married. If I had to pick
one person that has loved me in a remarkable way, it would have to be my
third sister, Luchee. We are 13 years apart and yes, I became an aunt at the
age of 9. My sister has always been there for me in every way possible. The
depth of her struggles, sharpens her courage and endurance to get to the
pebbled path called success.

My sister is a role model.
G. She gives me courage, inspiration and confidence to aim for
my goals.
H. She has influence me in a positive way. She helps me shape
the way I am in the present and what I will be in the future.
I. She reminds me to never say I cant instead Ill tell her I
dont want to or I dont know how and she will show me the
way but never say cant.

My sister isn't the greatest, the funniest or even the most perfect
person in this planet, but she sure is all of that to me. My sister is someone I
can trust, someone I can relate to and laugh with. Shes the one whose voice
has been there all along, sharing secrets and dreams. The one I go to for
honest advice and genuine support. Shes the one Ive known forever. She's
my role model, my friend, my foe and, in my eyes, there is no better friend
than a sister and there is no better sister than her.
