Tour Guide – one who conducts a tour or one with a broad
knowledge of a particular area whose primary duty is to
inform. According to the Tour Guide Code of 1987
promulgated by the Department of Tourism, tour guide is an
individual who is licensed by the local government and
accredited by the department of tourism to guide tourist,
both foreign and domestic, for a fee, commission or any
other form of lawful remuneration.
Tour Escort – The tour escort is a qualified person who
accompanies people traveling through different countries
and abroad to assure the regular running of the planned
trips. He provides the necessary support services for its
entire duration, giving significant information of the site
A tour guide is an individual who accompanies the tourist
in a certain tourist destination while a tour escort is an
individual who accompanies a tourist throughout the tour.

1. THE LEADER

required of leaders and managers in business such
as willingness to assume responsibility, ability to
organize and make wise decisions, strength to
respond to emergencies, and the skill to coordinate
many administrative tasks simultaneously.
