Code of conduct
PTCL is committed to acting in the company’s best interests. This
involves staying within permissible legal limits and taking all
possible measures to prevent any loss or damage to PTCL’s
interests and reputation. Actions and behaviors of employees
constitute the organizational culture. There Code of Conduct has
therefore been designed to promote ethics, honesty and
professionalism within the Company.
PTCL Management and staff will abide by the ‘Code of Conduct’
in carrying out their duties so as to preserve public trust, ensure
sustainable growth and development and create value in the
Company.
Every employee of PTCL, including contractors or consultants
who are our agents or working on our behalf or in our name,
processes or any business activity, will be required to act
consistently with the Code. Independent Vendors may also be
made aware of the Code.

Positive Atmosphere
Human resource is one such prime asset which needs to be
nurtured and kept motivated and engaged to deliver at its best.
Therefore, efforts must be made to provide them an honest,
open and enabling environment where they feel safe and secure.
PTCL is firmly against harassment by means of any action that
creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive environment.
PTCL does not tolerate violence of any type in its premise.
Expected Behaviors
The organization neither engage in harassment of any type,
nor conduct ourselves in a way that could be construed as
such.
They treat everyone including our team members,
customers, business partners and other stakeholders—with
dignity & respect as they are entitled to a safe & respectful
environment.
They stay polite and respectful at all times even if we
disagree with a team member or other persons at work.
Do not possess or bring weapons of any type to our
workplace.
We resolve our differences in a calm manner without
resorting to bullying, threatening, intimidating another
person or their property through either verbal behavior or
non-verbal behavior.

Complexity
The term complexity refers to the amount of differentiation in
an organization. The more division of labor there is in an
organization, the more vertical levels in the hierarchy and
more geographically dispersed the organization's units, the
more difficult it is to coordinate people and their activities.
When we analysis the complexity of PTCL, there is big amount

Competitor analysis
WTL:
WorldCall Telecom Limited is a Pakistani telecommunication
and multimedia service provider which is a subsidiary of Omani
company Omantel. It is based in Lahore, Pakistan. WTL is seen
as one of PTCL's top competitors. WTL is in the
Telecommunication Services industry. Compared to PTCL, WTL
generates $380.4M less revenue.
Wateen:
Wateen Telecom is in Lahore, Pakistan, and was a sister
concern of Warid Telecom. The company was incorporated in
2005 and began its operations in 2007 with the deployment of
the largest fibre optic network in the countryWateen is PTCL's
2nd competitor. Wateen was founded in 2007. Wateen
competes in the Telecommunication Services industry. Wateen
has 18,275 fewer employees than PTCL.
Spectranet:
Spectra, is a Gurgaon headquartered internet service provider
which offers fiber optic broadband services to residential,
business, and enterprise. Spectranet is PTCL's 3rd rival.
Spectranet is headquartered in Alausa Ikeja, Lagos, and was
founded in 2009. Like PTCL, Spectranet also competes in the
Telecommunication Services industry. Spectranet generates 13%
the revenue of PTCL.
