INTRODUCTION
Gammadyne Mailer is essential software for automating a business's email marketing.
It can send personalized email campaigns and process virtually any type of incoming
email. Carefully crafted to achieve the highest delivery rate, it will reach more
of your audience and generate more sales. And its ability to track opens and
clicks provides an abundance of marketing knowledge. By utilizing your website's
mail server, or renting a cheap server, you can save a fortune by avoiding the
recurring fees associated with an email service. For over 14 years, Gammadyne
Mailer has been helping businesses grow. No email marketing effort should be
without it!
REQUIREMENTS
Gammadyne Mailer runs on Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 2008, 7, 8, and 2012.
Installation will use approximately 80 MB of hard disk space. The computer that
Gammadyne Mailer is installed on must have an Internet connection, but no other
special software is required. For more information about what is required to send
email, please visit our website here: http://www.Gammadyne.com/gm-
sending.htm#relay
INSTALLATION
The installer is a self-contained executable. It can be downloaded from
http://www.Gammadyne.com/download.htm . Open the download to start the
installation process. If you have downloaded the .zip version, double click on the
"setup.exe" file inside the .zip file.
The installer will not modify any system files or settings. It will not create any
tray icons, nor any programs that launch at startup. The installer only copies a
small set of files onto your hard drive, along with a Desktop and Start Menu
shortcut.
LAUNCHING
The installation process will create two shortcuts, one on the desktop and one in
the start menu under Programs, Gammadyne. You can also execute the file "GM.EXE"
directly. It is located in the directory where Gammadyne Mailer is installed.
GETTING HELP
You may hover the mouse over any control, and balloon help will appear that
provides a brief explanation of the control's purpose. For a more detailed
explanation, right click on the control and choose "Help" (or press F1). This will
open the Help file to the section that describes the control.
To open the Help file's table of contents, choose "Help" from the "Help" menu. You
may want to start by reading the Introduction and Tutorial sections.
LIMITATIONS
Gammadyne Mailer is a shareware program with the following limitations:
* A "not for commercial use" notice is inserted at the beginning and end of all
messages sent.
* There is a limit of 80 Send Operations and 80 Incoming Operations.
* Third party programs cannot use GMCOM.DLL.
* The "Check Blacklisting" tool is disabled.
* The tracking feature is disabled.
UPGRADES
It is perfectly safe to install a newer version over an old version. This will not
delete any of your projects, and existing projects will be fully compatible with
the new version. However, please note that installing a major upgrade (such as 1.0
to 2.0) will require the product to be re-activated, which will consume an
activation from your license. Installing a minor upgrade (such as 1.0 to 1.1) does
not require re-activation.
There are two simple methods for obtaining and installing the newest version of
Gammadyne Mailer.
DISTRIBUTION
The Gammadyne Mailer trial is freely distributable so long as the following
conditions are met:
1. You may only distribute the original, unmodified installation file (download it
from the program's home page). However, you are permitted to rename the file.
2. You may not package the installer inside another installer or archive.
3. You must not represent that you own the software.
4. You must not represent that the software is free.
5. You must not represent that the software is fully functional (i.e. without
trial limitations).
6. You must not provide a License ID for the software.
