 Delete Unused Masters
Introduction
On enabling this feature, you can delete all the unused Ledger, Cost Centre, Stock Item masters. By
unused we mean that Ledgers, Cost Centres, Stock Items etc. neither having an opening balance nor
transactions.

Important!
As a best practice it is advisable to take a back-up of your company data before installing the add-on

Quick Setup Guide:

1. Tally Users having version Lower than Tally.ERP9 Rel 3.2

Go to Gateway of Tally > F11: Features > Accounting Features

Set Enable trimmer to Delete Ledgers, Cost Centres & Stock Items as “YES”

 2. Tally Users having version Tally.ERP 9 Rel 3.2

Go to Gateway of Tally > F11: Features > Add-on Features

Set Enable trimmer to Delete Ledgers, Cost Centres & Stock Items as “YES”

2. To delete the masters

Go to Main Menu-> Display-> Exception Reports -> Data Trimmer

Select the appropriate masters that need to be deleted

4. Select the accounting Group

On Selecting the group you will see only those ledgers which do not have opening Balance &
Transaction .Select the ledgers you want to delete using space bar or CTRL+<Space> to select all and then
press ALT+”D” to delete the ledgers

6. Select the Stock Group under which you want to delete the Stock Item

On Selecting the group you will see only those Stock Items which do not have opening Balance &
Transaction .Select the Stock Items you want to delete using space bar or CTRL+<Space> to select all and
then press ALT + D to delete stock items

7. Select the Cost Centre under which you want to delete the Sub Cost Centre

On Selecting the Cost Centres you will see only those Cost Centres which do not have transaction .Select
the Cost Centres you want to delete using space bar or CTRL+<Space> to select all and then press
ALT+”D” to delete the Cost Centres

Which version/releases of Tally.ERP 9 does the add-on support?
This add-on will work only with Tally.ERP 9 Series A, Release 3.0 onwards

I have more than one Tally License. Do I need to purchase one license of the add-on or do I have to
pay for multiple licenses?
The add-on needs to be purchased for each serial number.

Do I need to do an installation after the purchase?

No, you don’t need to install the add-on separately. You need to update your license once.

How will I get support for this add-on?

You can get support free of charge up to one year from the date of purchase. You can write to us at
Support@LSPL.net or call us on 0120-4515000

Will any NEW features added be available to us?

Yes, all new features added up to one year is available free of cost, with the required support. After one
year, a nominal subscription cost will be applicable, to continue to get support and updates.

What will happen if a new version of Tally.ERP 9 is made available?

Normally, it will work without any errors, as the add-on gets updated automatically. In case of any issues,
contact support.

What is the cost of subscription after the free service period?

20% of the MRP will be charged for support and updates.
