Once certified, how do you plan on using your Certified Nutritionist Certification?

What type of
population will you will be able work with and what type of coaching strategies will you be able to
use? Is there any population that you will not be able to work with?

Once I got certified, I am planning to create my own ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition
Coach website where I will offer 3 programs as follow: Fitness training plan, Nutrition Coaching
plan, Fitness Training and Nutrition coaching plan. So my client can choose the program which will
benefit them the most. I will also start my own social media channels where I will provide some
basic information regarding nutrition and training benefits. It will help me to reach out to my
potential customers and gain the attention of more and more people. Using social media and liking
it to my website will increase the traffic and will also promote my services.
I think I will be able to work with Level1, Level2 and Level3 from18 to 35years old age group
clients more effectively as they tend to use more social media platforms and have very specific
goals than any other age groups and they are also more enthusiastic about fitness. I also plan to
work with more Indian and Italian clients as I am an Indian but raised in Italy so I know both
cultures and traditions very well. It is a huge benefit for me that I can communicate to both Indian
and Italian speakers. Working with these huge societies will also be very beneficial for my business.
One of my main goal would be to help clients to adopt healthy lifestyle by educating them about
food, eating behaviors and exercise. I would start to implement the coaching strategies that I have
learned through this guide. All clients will not have the same goal, ethnic background, age, dietary
preferences, food budget so each of the must be treated as a unique case. I will listen to their stories
and personal goals very carefully. I will let them understand their limiting factors which may
prevent them to reach their desired goal. I will always remain very flexible and open minded with
them. I will continue to look for the best method that fits best according to their specific needs.
After I found each client’s nutrition level, I will make an initial short term plan and then observe it
and based on its outcome goal will make adjustments to it. Before engaging to level 2 or 3 level I
will make sure that my client is practicing all level 1 habits consistently. I will use adequate
questionnaire form to get more detailed information about them, which help me to know more about
their sleeping pattern, eating pattern, overall health, recovery, dietary intake etc. If I found that there
is something beyond my practices likewise I cannot give any medical nutrition advice I will refer
them to health care provider.

The only population that I will not be able to work right now is the senior age group because before
working with them I also want to acquire the Senior Fitness Certification so I will have the
complete knowledge this age group before working with them and by doing this I will also feel
more confident.
