1) INTRODUCTION
Vastu Shastra – The Science of Architecture
Vastu, the architectural science of India is one of the 64 Vedic arts.
All Vedic arts are highly developed and intricate. They require
patience, deep contemplation, sharp intelligence and wisdom to
perform properly. Vastu Shastra, which literally translated means ‘the
Science of Buildings’. Like Ayurveda, Vastu is also developed for
improving the existence of a man. A desire to sleep peacefully in a
house has made the sages and scholars of Ancient India to study for
years in details about the earth and the components which
influence the earth and human alike, has resulted in the formation of
a science called Vastu Shastra. The factors influencing a Site are
topography, roads, surrounding structures, the Sun’s effects, Earth’s
magnetic field, Earth’s energy fields, the cardinal directions and
Nature’s elements. Vastu shastra lays down guidelines and tips for
the ‘design of buildings’, so that Man can benefit from the useful and
positive effects of these factors and is protected from the harmful and
negative effects.

Ayadi Calculation
Ayadi calculation is one of the most important parts in Sthapatya
Veda; Ayadi Calculation is also called as Ayadi Shadvarga or the
Building formulae. The Scriptures as well as the ancient architects
(Sthapatis) considered the dwellings as a living organism, irrespective
of temple, residential homes, palaces etc.
The knowledge of Ayadi is used by the designer to determine the

effects of the physical structure on the individual. The homeowner is
born under the influence of a particular birth star. The building is
considered to be a living being and also has a birth star. Ayadi
calculations attempt to harmonize the energies created by the
influence of the birth star of the person and that of the building. When
these energies are harmonized the dweller experiences material
prosperity and spiritual well being. Ayadi is also said to be able to
affect the fate of the individual.
Like human beings, Vastu also has a horoscope. The Ayadi

Shadvargas denote the horoscope of a Vaastu. It is the guiding
formulae for the prosperity and well being of the inhabitants of the
house. Here a master designer can change the horoscope of the
artefact he designs, by giving due attention to the Ayadi Shadvarga
formulae.

Traditional Indian Vastu and Western Vastu (Geopathology)
Geopathology is a science that deals with the study of pathologic

(sickening, harmful) energies emitted from the earth that interfere
with the healthy functioning of cell metabolism in our body.
Geopathic Stress mainly occurs from natural sources, but can be
caused, as well, by man-made electro-magnetic devices and
applications such as cell phones, computers, power lines, etc.
European Science has researched this topic for nearly a century and
provides important insights about the significance on long-term and
chronic health challenges.
Earth and It’s Magnetic Field

The Earth’s magnetic field is similar to that of a bar magnet with one
pole near the geographic North pole and the other near the geographic
South pole. The Earth’s magnetic field is mostly caused by convection
of molten iron within the outer liquid core, along with a ‘Coriolis
Effect’ caused by the overall planetary rotation, which organizes
these “electric currents” in rolls aligned along the North-South polar
axis.
How does the Earth’s Magnetic Field affect living things?
It is scientifically known that the Earth’s magnetic field affects

humans and animals in different ways because every cell
within them not only reacts to electromagnetic currents but also
produces them. For example the Earth’s magnetic field could
generate electric fields and currents around the heart and slightly
impede the flow of blood.
Psychiatrists have noticed a correlation between increased

geomagnetic activity and increased suicide rates and clinical
depression. This has been explained by Kelly Posner, a Psychiatrist at
Columbia University in the US: “The most plausible explanation for
the association between geomagnetic activity and depression and
suicide is that geomagnetic storms can desynchronise circadian
rhythms and melatonin production. The circadian regulatory system
depends upon repeated environmental cues to synchronise internal
clocks, and magnetic fields may be one of these environmental cues.

Geomagnetic storms could disrupt body clocks, precipitating
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and therefore increased suicide
risk.
The Importance of Natural Sunlight in Our Home
Nothing is more important to us on Earth than the Sun. Without the

Sun's heat and light, the Earth would be a lifeless ball of ice-coated
rock. The Sun warms our seas, stirs our atmosphere, generates our
weather patterns, and gives energy to the growing green plants that
provide the food and oxygen for life on Earth.

Importance of Home Lighting
Home lighting as an essential decorating element.

Lighting is the most essential element in the decoration of home. We
all need to bring more lighting into our homes. Lighting creates,
paradoxically, both reality and illusion.
Lighting fixtures illuminate our treasured objects and highlights our
favourite colours, as well as affects our mood, performance, and
mental health on a daily basis.
Light Level - Illuminance
Light Level or Illuminance, is the total luminous flux incident on a

surface, per unit area. The work plane is where the most important
tasks in the room or space are performed.
Illuminance is measured in foot candles (ftcd, fc, fcd) (or lux in the
metric SI system). A foot candle is actually one lumen of light density
per square foot, one lux is one lumen per square meter.
 1 lux = 1 lumen / sq meter = 0.0001

 1 phot = 1 lumen / sq centimeter = 10000 lumens / sq meter =
10000 lux

Sound Effect on Home Vastu
Varied variety of sounds produced by vibrations, have different

effects on the beings and they act or react as per the sound produced.

Believe it or not, sound has major relation with our mood and as a
pleasant music can cheer us up, the loud and screeching sounds can
disturb it. In fact, harsh sound causes noise pollution, which in turn,
without our noticing, causes tension, stress, and other disorders like
blood pressure, migraine and so on.
Thus to restore the balance, harmony and peace within a family, the
right kind of sounds should be prevalent in the house as per Vastu.
 The sweet and soft conversations between family members

lighten the mood and spread a positive ambience.
 Avoid watching television during meal time rather prefer to
have pleasant conversations or soft music.
 Sacred chants or healing rhythms of devotion should be played
early morning in the house.
 Dripping faucets or leaky taps should be repaired as soon as
possible.
 The hinges of the door should be kept well oiled, to avoid
creaking sounds.
 Close the door gently so that the mind and body remains calm.
 The bell cast from an amalgam of five metals improve the
positive energy flow in the environment, dissipating the
negative vibrations.
 Wind chimes are also an important source of peaceful and
serene environment.

 The soft melodious tunes can induce peace, relaxation and
reduce sadness, tension and anger.
 Hanging wind chimes, changing harsh sounding door bells with
pleasant-sounding ones and having rippling water fountains can
be a means of adding the right sounds to any environment.
Sound Effect - Remedies
Windows and Walls
Cover windows with heavy draperies made from velvet, brocade,

suede or jacquard fabrics. Thick draperies can help absorb the
noise bouncing off walls in a larger room. Insulated thermal
draperies are another noise-reducing option for windows. Hang
large tapestries on your walls or cover your walls in fabric to help
reduce the noise level.
Ceilings
Install fabric-covered false beams on soaring vaulted ceilings to
provide quieting sound absorption. This is an ideal way to reduce
the noise while enhancing your room with a designer-savvy flair.
An optional noise-reducing idea is to adhere acoustical foam
ceiling tiles directly over your existing ceiling.
These are lightweight, available in assorted varieties, and easy to
install. You can also cover your ceiling, as well as your walls, with
a sound-reduction paint.
Floors

Thick padding installed underneath dense carpeting can help
reduce the noise in a large room. If you have wooden or tile floors,
add a large area rug to muffle the sounds within your room. Situate
a non-skid rug pad under your area rug to further reduce the noise
level. Position an area rug on top of low-nap carpet to provide
an additional layer of sound absorption. Carpets or rugs that are
plusher and cushier absorb noise better than their thin counterparts
Furnishings
Upholstered furniture can help reduce the noise level in your room.
Large sofas, chairs and ottomans covered in suede, corduroy,
chenille, microfiber or other plush fabrics absorb sounds in a room
to make it quieter.
Add a variety of textured toss pillows and furniture throws to
maximize noise absorption. Free-standing room dividers or screens
with textile panels can also help to reduce noise levels.
They are conveniently portable, allowing you to move them as
needed.

After entering the correct username & password the application will
redirect to the Welcome Window for Installation Procedure.

Plot Direction – Description
During the selection of the Plot, the intermediate directions are not
advised to select in Vastu. The main reason is that if the plot direction
is exactly intermediate then the total activity of the home will be
directly proportional to the direction of that particular home i.e.
sleeping, studying, sitting etc. Since the distributions of magnetic
energies are more towards intermediate directions it may affect the
entire health and wealth of the family. The scientific details are well
explained in Vastu Soft Application.

Plot Direction – Finder
Working with Vastu Soft Application
Place our mobile phone parallel to the earth surface and hold it same
as a compass. Point our phone to desired direction where we want to
know whether the pointed direction is favourable, medium or
unfavourable. If the colour turns green, the selected direction is good
as per Vastu. If the colour turns yellow, the selected direction is
medium as per Vastu. If colour of arrow turns red then the selected
direction is not good as per Vastu. Also the application will tell you
to how much degree need to tilt in both Anti-clockwise and
Clockwise direction to get the best results. Stand away from any
Magnetic / Metallic substances for best results.

11) CURRY LINE OR CANCER LINE –
FINDER
Geopathic Stress and Cancer - An introduction
Dr Ernst Hartmann, MD, wrote that "Cancer is a disease of location

triggered off by geopathic stress. We all produce cancerous cells on a
regular basis, but they are continuously destroyed by our body's
immune system. Geopathic stress does not cause cancer, but weakens
our immune system."
Geopathic influences may indeed be among the most neglected

contributing or causative agents for cancer and other disease.
Contrary to what some may assume, geopathic stress is not a
“question of belief”, but an area which has been studied in-depth over

millennia and today includes scientifically measurable and
“respectable” quantities and factors such as electrosmog (electrical
field, magnetic field, electromagnetic fields as those emanating from
high-voltage power lines, electric cables, electrical appliances and
synthetic materials) and high frequency pollution (mobile [cell] phone
antenna, mobile [cell] phone radiation, DECT telephones,
hotspot/WLAN, radar). The latter are also referred to as technopathic
stress.
In recent times, there are a few well-known German (and Austrian)

researchers in the field of “water veins” or earth radiation who
collaborated with supervising physicians and others to carefully
record and ascertain the correctness and stringency of observed
correlations between disease - particularly cancer - and geopathic
stress influences from earth radiation (such as Käthe Bachler[1]). An
official confirmation and endorsement was published in 1985 by Dr.
Veronika Carstens MD (wife of former German Federal President
Karl Carstens): Dr. Carstens authored a study stating that there
were 700 cases documented world-wide where terminal cancer
patients had regained their health without any conventional treatment
after their sleeping area had been moved from a geopathic stress zone.
All of these cancer patients had been “given up” by their doctors.
Hartmann Net or Hartmann Lines

The Hartmann net consists of naturally occurring charged lines,
running North-South and East-West. It is named after Dr. Ernst
Hartmann, a well regarded German medical doctor, who first
described it soon after the second world war. Alternate lines are
usually positively and negatively charged, so where the lines intersect
it is possible to have double positive charges and double negative
charges, or one positive and one negative charge. It is the
intersections that are seen to be a source of potential problems.
The Hartmann Net appears as a structure of radiations rising vertically

from the ground like invisible, radioactive walls, each 21 centimetres
(9 inches) wide. The grid is magnetically orientated, from North to
South they are encountered at intervals of 2 meters (6 feet 6 inches),
while from East to West they are 2.5 meters (8 feet) apart. Between
these geometric lines lies a neutral zone, an unperturbed micro-
climate. This network penetrates everywhere, whether over open
ground or through dwellings.
The Hartmann net has been defined using the Chinese terms of Yin
and Yang. The Yin (North-South lines) is a cold energy which acts
slowly, corresponds to winter, is related to cramps, humidity and all
forms of rheumatism. The Yang (East-West lines) is a hot, dry rapidly
acting energy. It is related to fire and is linked to inflammations.
The points formed by the intersection of these lines, whether positive

or negative, are dynamic environments sensitive to the rhythms of the
hours and the seasons.

Curry Grid
Curry lines are a global grid network of electrically charged lines of

natural origin. These lines run diagonally to the poles and were first
discovered by Dr. Manfred Curry and Dr. Wittmann. There is some
disagreement between authorities as to how wide apart these lines are,
but the consensus seems to be approximately 3 meters, although most
experts recognise that this can vary. The lines themselves are not seen

as a problem, only the points where they cross, and obviously lines
which run in this way will have numerous intersecting points. As the
lines are electrically charged, the intersecting points are either double
positives, double negatives or one of each. From his studies Dr. Curry
felt that the positively charged spots lead to a proliferation of cells,
with the possibility of cancerous cell growth, whereas the negatively
charged spots could lead to inflammation.
Water Veins
A water vein is water that flows underground between layers of rock,

and can vary in size from mere trickles to large scale rivers. Water
veins emit an energy that is draining our body's bio-energetic field
and can be harmful if a person is spending long periods of time above
those areas. It makes no difference how deep the water is down in the
earth or how many floors a person lives above ground. Even on the
20th floor of an apartment building the effect can be clearly felt,
sometimes even stronger due to the enhancement of iron in reinforced
concrete in the ceilings.
GPZ – How to find (Naturally)

Dogs have always been an indicator of geopathogenic zones. The best
place for the bed is where your dog lays down to sleep. The dog
cannot sleep where it is irritated by infrasound resembling growling.
The dog has a very well developed sense of hearing, it is controlled

by the vegetative nervous system and cannot only hear lower
frequencies, but also accurately perceive subliminal stimulation.
A cat is the opposite of a dog. If a cat feels fine, it purrs. The vibration
of the “valve” in the mouth cavity during breathing creates a tone
similar to infrasound that makes the cat “vibrate”. The cat therefore
seeks places that remind it of that sound. These include infrasonic
pathogenic zones. Therefore, do not place your bed, resting place or
workplace in areas where cats like resting.
Also bees tend to achieve higher honey yields in infrasonic
pathogenic zones because infrasound does not let them rest and keeps
them more active. This noise resembles them the sound produced by
their wings at the time of their daily activity. Locating hives in
suitable GPZs helps increase the quality of bee colonies.
Also ants are doing well in pathogenic zones because ants, same as
bees, produce their own sound similar to infrasound. Locations of
anthills are often identical with GPZs.
Effects of GPZs on Humans

Small children are very sensitive and therefore always seek such a
place in bed to avoid GPZs, otherwise their sleep is restless.
Therefore, the health condition of children is predetermined by the
location of their bed.
This energy radiation comes from the earth interior. Long-term
exposure to this radiation has harmful influence on humans. This
mostly results in the development of a disease in the weakest organ of
the human body. The whole process may be accelerated by congenital
predisposition. A short-term stay in these zones causes concentration
disorders or feelings of unease and unexplained fatigue in more
sensitive individuals. A long-term stay, e.g. sleep, may start a variety
of diseases, from the most banal to the most severe ones. These are
mostly conditioned by an accumulation of other factors. In the
opinion of a number of scientists dealing with natural treatment,
active health precautions also involve respecting geopathogenic
zones.

In official technical literature, we can read that geopathogenic zones
cause not only headaches and insomnia, but also severe diseases.
Staying in the zone for longer periods of time causes cancer, liver
diseases, lower urinary tract diseases, infertility, chronic rhinitis and a
number of other diseases. A normal person will feel the malignant
influence of the zones only when he/she gets sick.
The long-term effects of radiation on humans in occupied areas may,
for example, affect the frequency of failures when generating the
helix of the ribonucleic acid, the genetic information carrier. In a
better case, such failure is detrimental to the activity and function of
the affected cell; in a worse case, it affects its division and then the
offspring of a single cell can put us at risk of cancer. This process of
gradual accumulation of errors can take many years.
Geopathogenic Zones
Dr. Juryška, an Olomouc-based oncologist, expressed suspicion that
the high incidence of neoplasm diseases in Olomouc is related to the
number of occurrences of geopathogenic zones, which was the
impetus for his detailed research.

1. Weak, at the limit of recognizability, the organism easily eliminates
the effects.
2. Well recognizable, a healthy organism can eliminate the effects in a
long term; however, a sick person gets clearly weaker and the healing
process is prolonged.
3. It weakens the nervous system, there is slight nervousness, a
healthy organism is able to eliminate the effects for some time;
however, a sick organism shows problems that are not improving.
4. Strong nervousness, insomnia, organ dysfunction, seemingly
incurable chronic pain and diseases which, however, improve quickly
when staying out of the zone. A healthy organism can resist for a
short time, a sick organism cannot.

5. The emergence of benign malformations, restlessness
accompanying the person outside the zone, organ dysfunction which
is not improving when staying out of the zone and necessitates
treatment, the same is true of pain, the nervous condition is similar to
stress.
6. The emergence of strong degenerative changes and pre-cancers,
depression, pain of unknown origin unresponsive to therapy, escalated
difficulties of the previous degree.
7. Over the years, the emergence of mutations and cancer-causing
changes, there may or may not be a nervous reaction (this is the
threshold area of neural reactivity)
8. Within a few years, the emergence of malignant growth but no
longer any nervous reactions, and therefore one feels a little better in
this zone than in the previous one (it is insidious), organ disorders are
not as noticeable (nevertheless, they are severe), the nervous system is
usually not able to pass pain, and if it does, then to a minimal extent,
normal sleep, but in fact missing, it is rather apparent apathy, mild
poisoning by poorly eliminated metabolic products, warning signs of
yellowish pale skin, but the patient does not feel seriously ill.
9. Malignant growth occurs within a few months unless death occurs
sooner due to organ failure, disorders rapidly increase, resulting in
exhaustion of hormonal nature, apathy - neither the person nor the
organism resist, regeneration is virtually absent, emergence of atrophy
and poisoning by metabolic waste products.
10. Almost immediate failure of organs and their functions, which are
the cause of death (not cancer), growth arrest, quick emergence of
dull headache, apathy no longer has time to develop because there is
instinctive anxiety and fear of the place (even hallucinations) and one
is unable to stay here long.
11. Loss of the sense of balance (risk of injury), loss of consciousness
in a few hours, severe shock condition usually causes death within a
few days, the condition of the organism is only rarely improved by
intensive therapy.

12. Mortally dangerous places, death occurs within a few hours at the
latest, according to the origin of pathogenic radiation.
Strong radiation of degrees No. 11 and 12 does not occur under
normal circumstances.

In Vastu Soft, we use the Technology of Magnetometer to find out the

presence of High Magnetic field around an area to avoid health
related problems in future.
The Magnetometer sensor in our Tablet or Smartphone also utilizes

the modern solid state technology to create a miniature Hall-effect
sensor that detects the Earth's magnetic field along three
perpendicular axes X, Y and Z. The Hall-effect sensor produces
voltage which is proportional to the strength and polarity of the
magnetic field along the axis each sensor is directed. The
magnetometer readings are reported in micro Tesla units (µT). The
average Magnetic Field Strength of Earth is 50 µT and above 100 µT
is considered as High Magnetic Field Strength of that particular area.

Place our mobile phone parallel to the earth surface and point our
phone to desired direction where we want to check whether the
present location having the presence of High Magnetic Field. If the
colour turns green, the presence of Magnetic Field is Low (Range: 50
µT and below). If the colour turns yellow, the presence of Magnetic
Field is Average (Range: 75-100 µT). If the colour turns Red, the
presence of Magnetic Field is High (Range: Above 100 µT). Stand
away from any Magnetic / Metallic substances for best results.
Always try to avoid the area having High Magnetic field while
selection of a room especially for Children’s Study, Bed Room,
Office Room, and Prayer Room etc.

Vastu Soft Application will help us to know the Light Level of each
room as available in application. Two examples are given below.

Lumens / Watt Calculator helps the user to find the number and type
of lighting required in a particular room.
The user need to simply select the desired the room from the drop
down list as shown below:

1) Light Strength in TV Room
Stand inside the TV Room and place our mobile phone parallel to the
earth surface and check whether the Light Level is good for the
selected TV Room If the colour turns green, the presence of Light
Level or Light Illumination Strength is Very Low for the TV Room. If
the colour turns Red, the presence of Light Level or Light
Illumination Strength is Very Good for the TV Room.
It is suggested to make necessary arrangements for proper Lighting

via Sunlight (Enough Doors/Windows to be installed) or Lighting as
recommended for each location. The Lighting should be placed at
middle of the room to get better results.

2) Light Strength in Bedroom (Adult)
Stand inside the Bedroom (Adult) and place our mobile phone parallel
to the earth surface and check whether the Light Level is good for the
selected Bedroom (Adult). If the colour turns green, the presence of
Light Level or Light Illumination Strength is Very Low for the
Bedroom (Adult). If the colour turns Red, the presence of Light Level
or Light Illumination Strength is Very Good for the Bedroom (Adult).
It is suggested to make necessary arrangements for proper Lighting
